It was a wonderful throwback to their confrontation scene about the audio clip. There, HS had learned and understood for the first time just how much his Veer Balika loved and idolized him, hero-worshiped him, how much of an influence he had in he life. Today, she learned just how much her acceptance and love meant to him, how much he too needed her as her father and how much his insecurities regarding losing her were hurting him. I think it was important for Minnie to see him like this, so that she can be conscious of his emotional needs too as a father, otherwise they will not grow closer as they obviously can and need to eventually.

I had a HS Mini scene in mind since LOOONG.

That she opens up to him about how she's always missed having a father. No matter how strong she is, no matter how protective she's been of Babita, she always craved for that one strong figure in her life when she would feel low. When she would feel scared. When she wanted to just let go of things and let someone else handle hardships for her.

She missed a father in her growing years. She missed running to someone to discuss about news, sports, her new adventures and sometimes even about her Babes.

And now how she's found someone to do all of it and she can't thank the lord enough for that.

Minnie turning 18 in few months will have something to do with change in HS-Minnie's dynamic. I can't pinpoint but I can see it coming 🤔.

I don't think Minnie is going to try and bridge the gulf of insecurity and distrust between HS and herself so easily. For the first time in the show, Minnie seemed to be at a loss of words at the enormity of the allegation that her favorite Hanuman uncle was levying at her. The look of incredulity and pain in her face, the way you could see thoughts tumbling around in a mad rush inside her brain as she faced him - I think she will slowly withdraw herself from HS and maybe Babes too. She wil tell the world that she is giving them privacy but I think she is battling such deep sense of being an unwanted third wheel after the whole wedding session that it will take a lot to bring her out of this and make her feel at home again.

There was a reason why they showed a sense of hesitation when she wanted to go towards her grandparents. It is foreshadowing the fact she will probably leave for their home in near future.

She is 17 years old. She can't be expected to unravel the threads of psychological intricacies that HS is feeling when HS himself as such a matured,world-wise adult is tripping up

Phir duniya jaaye bhadd mein. Even Babita won't matter then.

This incident will in no way change his feelings for Minnie, rather it might make him even more protective. What will change though is his vision for the future, his expectations as a father. He might no longer want to exert his rights over her and limit himself to responding to her needs instead of approaching her for his own self. I think it's really sad that only a few hours ago he had spoken about his expectation from her and asked her for something for the first time in his life, for his own happiness, and now he's going to feel like he doesn't have the authority or right to do so even after marrying Babita.

No matter what anyone says though, he's already her parent and as such will always put her needs first, no matter how hurt he is. His love for her in unconditional, and I think he will do his bit even if he's struggling with his emotions, just like in the hospital incident where he forgot everyone and everything else.

As Mickey had said, she doesn't spend time thinking about her pain or crying for herself. After all these incidents this week, she will finally have the time to do it, now that her mission to get Babes married would be accomplished.

HS' words were important for her to hear because until she herself actively talks about what she wants from a father/from him, he won't force her or impose any relationship on her. HS has always understood what she missed in a father because he has seen her loneliness as a child but he also knows of this feeling from experience with his own father. He has always wanted to give Minnie this and more and will always have his arms open for, but she needs to be the one to step into that embrace. It will happen, but it will take time.

She's almost an adult with complex feelings, not a child who can run into his arms and hug his and her own worries away. Come to think of it, that would be a great scene indeed!

In all of this imagine if Babita ends up getting pregnant sometime later, Minnie's insecurity regarding her position in Babes's life, and HS's life will surface again. She will feel Hanita no longer need her in their lives 😭

She was standing in front of her mother's husband rather than her Hanuman uncle.💔🥺

HS for once was letting his hurt speak and could not subdue his pain in favor or being understanding towards others at that moment. I know we expect that of him because we're used to seeing him put others' needs above his, but this pain was too much for him to handle, given the circumstances.

I know he will say sorry to her when the time comes but until then, it ain't gonna be easy and his thoughts will be occupied by Minnie and her supposed 'rejection' of him as her father.

It can be the adoption sequence or her leaving home to live on her own or with NB.

Either will be brilliant!

I don't think it's fair to expect Minnie to bridge this gap, at least not on her own. She hasn't seen enough of the world to do this.

In all her 17 years, HS was the first and only person she could go to with whatever issue she had and expect guidance and understanding from him, but what is she to do when the issue involves him this time? She's going to be at sea and battle with these emotions, in the process realizing just how important he is and what she wants from him, but perhaps not knowing how to navigate, Babita or Mickey might be the catalyst but just like with the photo frame scene, I have a feeling that all HS would need is a small sign, a green signal from Minnie that she wants him to be her father, and he'll bound across to her to cover those 10 steps of distance between them.
