OMGGGG, I've been wanting to write out my own version of the mandap to babes sleeping in Minnie's room since morning. But time hi ni mil ra. 😵

I hope I can make a shorter version of it. Nowadays, I've noticed that with each piece, the length keeps increasing. 😆

It really is ironic, that the man who had encouraged mother-daughter to fly was now fluttering on the ground like a bird whose wings had just been clipped, and who could only look up from the ground as his two companions soared in the sky, potentially flying further and further away with no hope of him catching up.

I am glad his pain did overpower his judgement, if that was indeed what was going on in his mind. Aur kitna sahega banda? He will make amends in future but for now he's not going to think straight if his pain continues to cloud his judgement.

I have a feeling that if Minnie decides to stay with the Khuranas or leave her parents, it would destroy HS.

His insecurities were there yes, but with each passing moment to me it seemed like they were getting past those. But for them to spring up again with the idea that Minnie herself doesn't want HS around in her life in a fatherly capacity... I don't know. I'm going to chalk it off to his pain overwhelming him. I'm not faulting him or anything. At least this way, this insecurity will be addressed too.

Your bird analogy broke my heart. I can't see HS like that. 😭😭

HS would be more heart broken than Babes. I don't want him to feel like he's the reason for separating mother-daughter. If Minnie does leave for studies, then I want it to be on healthy terms.

All it takes to reassure HS is,

Mini storming into his room or that little hideout in the Haveli that he has, hugging him tight and whispering that hero dialogue again
