But with his wife, its only like he is giving giving giving and only giving. He knows he will not get what he wants. Day not far where he will either propose her or keep her at a complete distance after giving many thoughts to his feelings.
Isnt it amazing to see how sorted he is to take on the world no matter what pain he goes thru ! A complete and perfect example of a Man!! In every sense.

ab toh aadat ho chuki hain usse dard sehne ki .... from the age of 12, he is all by himself with angst and agony and solitude ,, he has covered his warm side of emotions behind the mask of being emotionless and heartless in the process .. but she came into his life , not sure what from audience POV but for him , she started to make way into his emotional side , affecting him like no other person, yet he knows that he cannot get anything from her, he is aware of his limitations in their relationship but the sad part is he is cannot even expect and hence curbing his feelings in various ways ...expectations leads to heartbreaks .. here it's written on the wall for him that he cannot and should not expect anything from her beyond her accepting his daughter , hence time and again he reiterates that she is his daughter's mom

For the world to see, he is ,man with a perfect family, but within the confines of his home, he is still in solitude... instead of giving her any pain , he is hurting himself .. because he is used to the pain from a tender age .. that pain which shaped the man into what he is today and he can't hurt her for her tears will only agonize him furthermore ... rather than hurting her and in turn feeling the pain, he is himself bearing it .. She came into his life and it's like an oasis in a desert, there is contentment that his daughter is safe, loved and has a mom , but that's about it, he is feeling guilty for what he did with the deal, the heartless man's heart started beating .. ,
