You know what today's Cookie's scene had such a huge significance. We all thought Cookie loves Bajaj unconditionally too just like him. But today the case was different. Bajaj thought she had come for him but she had actually come for Prerna not him. (one) Bajaj takes her to Prerna and she feels sorry for Anurag kisses him and is very depressed for him. (two) Cookie proceeds to sleep beside Anurag holding him (three)

3-3 places Ekta put it in eyes of the Audience how lonely Bajaj is so lonely that his daughter too loves and is concerned about others more than him. Because it bloody hurts so bad to see this no matter how endearing it is. He gives unconditional love to his daughter yet his daughter is more concerned about others not him and to her, Bajaj is just a demand fulfilling person. Though all that Bajaj did was for his daughter. Which is why in the precap the mention of Cookie.

Dunno if anyone on here is a fan of Pride and Prejudice, but I'm a piece of s*it for anything Austen. The sensual, tumultuous, read between the lines kind of tension and UST is my JAM. But I think Rishabh and Prerna have it in spades. Like Elizabeth, Prerna is incredibly judgemental and continues to fight through the fog of her initial impressions of someone. Anurag is Mr. Wickham who Elizabeth first finds herself in fancy with, until he pulls a 180 and turns out to be an ass 🤣 and all the while there is Mr. Darcy aka our Bajju who is watching the girl he likes from afar, makes several mistakes and one grave one in insulting her (here it was the deal LOL) and then spends the rest of the story pining for her and believing he's messed up so bad and he doesn't deserve her. While Lizzy was a WHOLE lot more likable and an actual like established consistent character, and Prerna is only just now getting there, I think the vibes are the same.

I'm also a huge believer in the second love trope. Take movies like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, or Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, the second lead in so many ways overshadows the first one because the way he feels about the female lead is so selfless and beautiful. He expects no changes from her, only changes himself to love her completely. Darcy was much the same with how he eventually earned his way back to Lizzy. While here Rishabh doesn't need to earn his way back, it's more about how Prerna can open her eyes to look at him and finally see 'ah he's been here all along, the love of my life'.

I agree, their love story does give P&P vibes, but their version is an extreme level of dramatic soapy version!

he tried telling himself, couple of times in the mirror that Prerna kukki ki maa hain. but the feelings are not in his control , though his mind warns him against entering that zone with her , multiple times, time and again he tries to control his unnamed, unsaid, unsorted feelings for her , he wants to subside those feelings, deflect those thoughts, maneuver his emotions to work, nothing seems to be working , on the contrary, he is feeling more strongly and other elements like jealousy ... with unsorted feelings he tries to sleep, but then ends up recollecting their, rather for him, the intimate moments with her, it's disturbing his sleep , his work and his entire personality ..

self introspections are not working, self control is not helping, self pep-talk seems diluted .. so most likely to curb his innate feelings he needs to emphasize , state, claim, authenticate, rewrite those very lines with HER yet again , not to sway from the line .. he expressed guilt for the deal marriage, he feels he exploited her in the name of deal, hence the guilt and also re-emphasizes that their relation is nothing more than of being parents to Kuki , it's more of self reclamation, self assurance to that he will not venture into any areas beyond Kuki's parents .. he is telling her this , more like writing on a stone , to have more control over himself that he shouldn't think of her beyond Kuki's mother .

Once he tells her that, he will be more careful to control his feelings but will he succeed, no ..she will do things, inadvertently, which will make him venture into those areas which he restricted for now.

Given that A will accuse bajaj of killing him and he will go to jail for a short time. I can't remember if bajaj told P how he found out something about A he wanted to talk to her about after the pooja. I know he said how he wants to tell her certain things about himself but never got the chance to. I believe all of this will come to light now. The bajaj and basus history will come into the light. As P will find out here about bajaj history or backstory while trying to help her husband. However if Bajaj said to he wants to tell her something about A maybe it had something to do with the goons that were hired. I feel bajaj had someone investigate that and knew what A was planning. In response he got angry and the accident occurred but bajaj did it unintentionally. So he never got to tell P and given what happened with A he felt guilty seeing A like that and P as well. He probably didn't want to break it to her or just forgot. However now that he is in jail his backstory will be revealed and somehow he will get assistance from an outside party

Right!! She keeps doing few things subconsciously and they tend to imply that unknowingly she draws strength from him.

AGREE. Nothing is helping him, talk in front of the mirror, self-talks, nothing. So finally trying talking to biwi more for himself than her.
