Baj has made up reasons that suits him that’s why every time Pre questioned him his default answer was “there is a time and place for everything”. It gives him time to craft a new reason for his convenience.

Revenge was the reason he took Pre away from Anu. Kuki was just a lame reason. Terrible to use his special child to ensure Pre didn’t leave him for Anu.

He knew all along AnuPre were in love yet took pleasure in separating them bec his need for revenge was more important. Whatever his reasons how does ruining two innocent people in love set right his miserable past no matter how painful?
