Kissing scenes aren't "cheap", you need to get out of that regressive mentality. It's a natural thing and none of the sex scenes were exploitative (not like there was any nudity).

I'm also talking about the general story. Gully Boy felt very by the numbers and cheesy with the classic underdog's rise story. Kabir Singh dealt with a more complex and interesting character in comparison

Kabir Singh for me..... Gullyboy, for me was really boring. Plus, Shahid acted really well... just the right amount of attitude that was needed. I didn't think he went overboard a single time. Absolutely loved his performance and the movie itself had an engaging story.

Kabir singh. If i have to watch rap movie, i will watch 8 miles not some sasta version with wannabe rapper

Shahid Kapoor in Kabir Singh. His performance was a pure package.❤️

Gully Boy is better movie than Kabir Singh, but Shahid preformed better than Ranveer.

Also Kabir Singh was a better human being than Murad.

Gully Boy had over 1.15 crores footfall, don't blame the audience.

How many international movies content movies have similar range of footfalls in other great movie producing nations?? In which country/language is the so called content movie highest grosser?? Even Mollywood, where they make mostly sensible movies, every huge hit movies has atleast two to three scenes dedicated to massy bgm playing in the background and hero giving a mass dialogue scene.

This audience blaming is ridiculous.
