and how will he remove the arc reactor? Just how? He can defeat Tony after he removes his armor but he have to remove it first and how will he? As you said Tony is far more smarter than Batman in engineering so how will he dismantle something he doesn't understand as much... Far smarter minds have tried and failed so how will he again? Greatest detective skills won't come handy there. Besides tony's suits can calculate moves of his opponent so nah there is no chance that Tony is letting him rip off that arc reactor. Besides for argument shakes even if he does rip of the suit, Tony can get in another one in just seconds so there is that.

He has old fashioned technology. It's pretty much done and outdated comparing to tony's new inventions. Also, It's next to impossible reaching out arch reactor that easily specially when you have nothing there protecting your weakest spot.😛
