guys i can see that some of you are upset about bajaj and his decision making at the accident and also some are worried that the writers are turning him negative. first of all bajaj is a morally grey character and that means he does not always do the morally right thing and sometimes does the questionable actions. but what draws the line between a grey and a negative character is that a grey character has a conscience, they will second guess their wrong deeds, they feels remorseful and they tend to have a redemptive arc unless their arc is meant to be a regressive one which is how most villain centric movies work. bajaj is a protagonist not a villain.

As for the accident this is what i think. the cvs showed bajaj's view of the road before the accident, it was raining heavily and despite the wipers being switched on it was blurry. he could have had difficulty seeing and thus may have taken longer to react and it was raining so the brakes would not work as well as it would on dry surface, maybe the brakes didnt work who knows. what i am trying to say is it could have genuinely been just an accident. and as for him fleeing, sometimes you are just too stunned to think clearly, it was getting crowded, people were demanding him to come out and just the previous night anurag and his entire family accused bajaj of sending the goons to murder Anurag even though the goon never said bajaj's name. they also made a huge deal out of bajaj threatening anurag. and bajaj knows very well just how fragile the situation between the families are and understands that prerna is stuck in the midst of all this mess and he cares about her and doesnt want to make things more complicated for her. point is even if it was a genuine 'accident' the basu parivaar will immediately point fingers at him and call him murderer. and he probably just panicked in the moment, it happens to the best of us. The important thing is he came back and wanted to know what happened to anu and only left accident site to come home after he was sure anurag had been taken to the hospital and even more importantly he didnt try to hide what happened, the first thing he did was try to find prerna to tell her what happened and when she questioned him he was absolutely honest with her. his heart is in the right place. he may have not done the right thing at first but he did the right things following it.

and as for the hiring lawyers he can hire the best lawyers and prove his innocence but will that decrease the complications and bitterness between the families and make it any easier for prerna?
