Katrina has been very lucky with the type of work she was able to get. She was able to excel with her strengths that her weak acting didn't matter. She also stayed in the news for her relationships. Be it with Salman or Ranbir. She knew that acting wasn't her forte so she used her other skills

She saw what worked for her at a particular time and ran with it. For example

1. When her films were working with Salman, she started doing more films with him.

2. When her films were working with Akshay, she took up more projects with him

3. When her dancing skills and sex appeal were appreciated, she took up Chikni Chameli, Zara Zara Touch Me, Khwab Dekhe, Sheila, Dhoom songs, etc.

4. When her relationships came into the limelight, she very publicly went around with her partner but never commented on them.

Katrina gave Rajneeti, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara right after she supposedly broke up with Bhai. If Bhai was the only reason was the only reason her career was going forward wouldn't these movies had tanked too(especially MBKDH)? Also, Bhai even tried to push the likes of Zarine, Daisy etc but they didn't become even 10% as successful as Katrina. There are people out there who like to see Katrina irrespective of her acting skills.

Oh boy look at the jealous fans from the rival camp commenting on her acting skills. Tsk tsk.

Anyways, I think Kat persevered for a long time. She dances well, does action sequences, have great connections and is quite nice. Yes she is considered a doormat for sucking up to Sallu but i think the fact that she didnt get into his bad books helped. And she isnt in a relationship with him. If her makeup brand hits it off, she might settle down which i hope she does.

What do people say?

“She is dignified” meaning she is smart enough to say thing correctly and at the right moment.

“She is a pure soul, she is friends with everyone” meaning she needs those people and without her friends offering her these jobs simply out of friendship she would have been nowhere.

I won’t even start on her weird equation with Salman Khan. Whatever is her place in his life. God bless. Other than that, yes she is smart and hardworking. This is Bollywood after all.

I'll go out on a limb and say she's the most dignified actress of her generation. Has a lot of achhaai (goodness). Looks beautiful. Verry beautiful. Amazing camera presence. Good physique. Hard working. Punctual. Has made good professional and personal contacts. Doesn't shy away from flowerpot roles.

Yup.. she will cuz is a freaking survivor. She and weirdly enough Jackie Fernandez, have somehow realized the importance of keeping reviewers happy and doing a good job even in bad movies...When she did zero & Bharat She also has started taking acting workshops before her films, and said she understood the importance of those workshops in fleshing out the characters and the reviews speak for themselves. Those have literally given her new lease though the films underperformed/flopped.

Katrina also has her makeup line coming and spoke about launching her production house too... she likely can be one of the top heroines for more than 2 decades...which is amazing if she can play her cards right and pull it off
