Krishna, Krish and the Old Rohit.

Dhoom 2 was not just about shaking bum dance moves which Saif can't do in this life time even if he wants to but involved changing into different roles like a chameleon from old guy to kid to statue.

Nobody expected these two roles to win NA.

But as far as Saif is concerned, Saif won NA for HumTum for a role which every other star sleepwalks. Even Salman! He got that award only bcoz his Mom was in Congress and Censor Board chief then.

Karishma didn’t win it for main category, it was in supporting category, she nailed her character, she showed the emotions jealousy, hurt, ego, inferiority convincingly.

It’s not necessary that actors should work in serious of parallel cinema to qualify for acting awards. KMG was a commercial science fiction film, but the role hrithik play required challenging performance that wasn’t easy to do, and if he had got NA it would be thoroughly deserved. I thought saif was brilliant in his role, but srk would been better choice.

Whole world knows that there is no award which is credible. That's why Saif, Akshay, Arjun Rampal, Karisma, Raveena, Kangana, Sonam Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal for Uri etc win. It's all abt lobbying or for political reasons.

Interms of awards in India, national award is far better than any awards in India. Every awards has some questionable winners but National has far less questionable winners, 90% of winners are deserving, and as I said earlier it’s not driven by big producers, big films or allegiance with particular stars or families. It considers all the talents of India and that’s where it’s far more prestigious and reliable.
