*Phantom Pregnancy/ Pseudo Pregnancy:

Its what Dr Ishani has explained to Dr Anjali. The desparate sterile woman will have every signs and symptoms of pregnancy but she's not pregnant. Thats a psychological problem.

The case is shown beautifully with all the illiterate people saying strictly know to any kind of medical equipments, even an Ultrasonography.

But, they missed the point that a C section is never done when fetal heart beat is not traceable. And also the most imporyant thing, how can a doctor perform a C section without a pervaginal examination!!!

What a major drawback in the episode.

Btw, i have written just to enlighten the rules and regulation here. Dont throw tomatoes on me. We can have a discussion over this though.

Yeah, even i am ready to accept some loopholes but yet, it seemed very much unethical to me. Thats why i shared it. Never heard a phantom pregnancy diagnosed at the time of C section.

Thanks for sharing your views.

Thanks KK for the enlightening us the correct procedure🤗

I can accept loopholes to some extent in showing these kind of rare diseases & their treatment procedures, which people from non- medical field like me, never heard off

Btw I have heard about this disease in 2011 for the first time as Pseudocyesis/ False pregnancy. The term Phantom pregnancy is also used for this, got to know from today's episode😛Thanks to Sanjivani.

I have read somewhere men also suffer from this. Women getting false symptoms, I can understand because the their body can show changes which happens during pregnancy but how can men suffer, I always wonder 🤔

One person had given clarification regarding this in twitter...that lady was first time brought to hsptl...that guy was saying daai could have done the delivery but she fell ill...and they said no to sonography also when anjali suggested that...so it is confirmed that they didnt go for any pregnency test before...this might be the reason it is diagnosed now...

I dont know how correct this is...

I have already given clarification on that. There's 2 major point.

1. A C section without PV examination is strict know. PV examination is a manual examination done with fingers.. It gives you idea about the position of the baby and also guide you about the time of delivery...

2. The heart beat was nil Dr Anjali said that.. In that case a C section is malpractice.

In gynocology.. The life of a mothers comes first and then the child.

About dai thing.. I guess the dai knew that and so flew away at the time of delivery. We have seen how insistent the couple was.

Hope you are cleared now. :) :)

Hi Kavya... (Kavya as jn KavyaAnjali?? ;) there used to be famous show named KavyaAnjali.)

You are welcome.

Umm.. Man with phantom pregnancy!! Are you sure!! Idk.. I never came across such term. But yeah you may have miataken it with phantom limb. Its a condition where a person with amputed limb feels pain in his limb. He complains of having pain in limb which had been amputed. :)

CVS want to show from this track now there are few people that don't believe in new technology.in hospital And they have fear to use new technology. And that is why problem occur

now that pregnant lady .. Why she was unware about phantom pregnancy ? Because she never go for ultrasound because she has phobia about it and she don't believe in it

If she would have believe new technology and would have gone for ultrasound sound during pregnancy then she would have known that she has false pregnancy

Purpose of this show not to educate us how surgery is done because by seeing just tv show one cannot learn how to do surgery . One has to read books and do practical

Purpose of this show to show different mentality of patients come in hospital and how different doctor dealing with it and how different mentality of doctor deal with patients

Almost every body know outer working of hospital like every body know like that doctor recommend for blood test or any test then doctor seeing report then doctor doing treat ment according to report

But here we ( means who are not doctor) what internal problems face by doctor

So CVS are making aware about us about internal problems which might be not by know by every body
