I know the complete memory loss of Anurag wouldn't do any better to her respect but atleast it won't butcher it further more by making him act as his wife, when in reality she is someone else's.

It's not butchering Adi, it's about the whole thing is gonna suffocate her more. And she will be guilt trippen by her husband daily with how great of him to allow her to act someone's wife and also have to push Anurag coming close to her in this track.
