Folks, the fact of the matter is, Bajaj is a grey character and he will always do things which have thin moral compass. We are allowed to discuss him in the negative light as well. I wanted to ask a very simple question: Bad men aren’t allowed to have feelings? Bad men shouldn’t fall in love? Humans are complex in nature and even the most dreaded gangsters in the world have fallen in love. Right or wrong, doesn’t matter. They killed thousands of people and were vulnerable when it came to love.
Isn’t that human?
What he ‘Deserves’ for his actions is his ‘Karma’ at the end of the day.
Completely unrelated, but, I was watching Rangbaaz a web series based on Sri Prakash Shukla, the dreaded Hitman in the late nineties, who was finally shot in an encounter at the age of 25. During his entire journey, there wasn’t even a second where he didn’t feel for his family or his loved one.
So, in a nutshell, even the most hated person has a chance to love and maybe redeem himself.
RB has a journey in the show and will follow the same. Negative/ positive/ grey doesn’t matter.
What is BASHING by the way?
I may love RB but still bash him for his actions. My love stems from his complexity and not necessarily based upon his action. I am free to express within the limits of the rules laid down which includes reprimanding the character wherever it is required or if it’s in non-compliance to my thought process. Loving a character and following his journey is a different thing and condone his actions different.
I rest my case. The best part about this AT is its maturity and different opinions. Let it be like that instead of pointing fingers.
