Jasmin Bhasin: I'm Not Replacing Hina Khan As Komolika

This morning, we woke up to the shocking news of Hina Khan quitting the character of Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and makers are approaching several TV actresses for her replacement. Among lot of names, one name that's making headlines is of Jasmin Bhasin. As per a report in Bollywoodlife.com, "Hina Khan won’t be returning on the show and will be replaced by another actress instead. The search for the new Komolika is on and according to sources, a number of actresses like Ragini Khanna, Madhurima Tuli, Ansha Sayyed, Riddhi Dogra, Ragini Khanna, Disha Parmar and Sanaya Irani were suggested by the team to Ekta Kapoor. However, she denied them all and according to the report Television actress Jasmin Bhasin is in the final talks to replace Hina Khan as Komolika. However, nothing has been confirmed as of now."

We spoke to the actress to know the truth. Jasmin who is currently shooting in Rajasthan for her catalogue, said, " I seriously don't known from where this news is being surfaced. I haven't even got a call from Balaji for this. I am shooting for a catalogue in humidity of Rajasthan and exhausted. I don't even have any clue that such news is being made. I also came to know after receiving calls".

So that clears the speculations on Hina Khan getting replaced. On the work front, Jasmin was last seen on Star Plus show, Dil To Happy Hai Ji. She quit the show as she didn't want to play a mother post time leap. The actress has also been part of popular shows like Tashan-E-Ishq, Dil Se Dil Tak and Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Coming back to Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, the show is currently focussing on the love and hate drama between Prerna (Erica Fernandes), Anurag (Parth Samthaan) and Rishabh Bajaj ( Karan Singh Grover).

So how do these news surface when the actor has not been approached? Either the journalists are crazy and over imagining or the actors are lying.

There were similar runours and counter rumours during bajaj entry.

The actor playing komo must be already planned. Ekta is creating a buzz.

Inside of creating buzz , she should concentrate on the script.

It's good for the actress actually 😉

But I feel it's some sort of PR strategy just like we had rumours of Eri quitting in the past. Such things happen on weekend for unnecessary buzz that's all.
