That was the fault of the horrible writing, it was supposed to be "funny" but just like everything else in HNY didn't work at all. CE on the other hand is like one of the rare masala movies with a strong role for the female lead. Just compare Simmba or Singham, Salman Khan movies etc. to it. SRK could have pushed for less so he gets more but didn't.

That's fair enough about HNY. I am just contesting the idea that SRK is this large hearted soul who "gives" good roles to lead actresses while his rivals try and do the opposite. The likes of Mahira were pretty much flower pots in movies like Raees. Btw there have been other Masala movies like Ghajini where the lead actress had a strong role. That has mostly got to do with how much focus there is on the love story in the Masala film. Akki/Salman Masala films are usually action-driven so obviously the ladies have lesser roles.

Keep Kat. Remove SRK instead. Kat was the Best thing in her last 3 films with Khans. While SRK was the Worst thing in his last 8 films. Plus, he sucks in action 👎🏼

Terrible pairing.They were horrible in Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

that is not true from Ghajini to Taalash to PK to Dangal, all movies where female roles had to be significant, the females had good roles. In 3 Idiots, TZP and RDB, he was willing to share the screen with other non star names and new guys.

None of the Dhooms had any significant roles for any females, don't tell me Aish, Dhoom 2 was all about HR, while TOH was always a special appearance for Katrina right from the beginning.

Its okay to praise SRK, but no need to down Aamir based on false assumptions.

SRK heroines didn't had significant roles in FAN nor Raaes, and it is not a bad thing, because those movies where not about female characters, same like Dhoom 3. Won't comment on TOH, as I haven't seen, nor wish to see.

Exactly, he played the supportive father role in Dangal, how many superstars will do that at their peak

Don't think he has any insider connection in YRF. He was the one who broke the news that Jaanu and Ishan are casted in Bunty Aur Babli 2. Later he tweeted that he got that scoop wrong and apologized... He does get most scoops right but not all.
