Aaji on KDP was a hoot. And all the jibes between MJ and her were very entertaining.

Keeping all the logic aside, just loved yesterday's episode. Everyone was too good and within limits. Be it Aajoba and Kaku or Shubhra & Aajoba conversation, that was very much entertaining. Abhijeet-Aasavari scenes were the cherry on the cake. That was the most informal and natural conversation ever. Simple actions, expressions and one liners said it all...

Most importantly, hats off to Ravi Patwardhan, who inspite of the enjury and old age resumed the shooting 👏 ( and spared us from Pradnya-Soham torture). So in addition to the bike love, Aajoba will accept AR for his cooking skills.

There is a strange coincidence for director Mayekar who also directed KDP. In that serial the heroine's grandmom was as popular as Ajoba in AS. She too had a severe back problem soon after the serial started and had to "go to the village" and came back after quite some time.

Here Ajoba does not seem to have fully recovered as he is always shown seated.

Keeping fingers crossed that they don't have ANY negative characters in this show. At the moment Pradnya is the most negative character but so far she is doing only some silly kat karastan and is only a small part of the show. If the serial is kept short then we can hope to see only the main story and no unnecessary diversions with negative characters will be needed to extend the show.

Keeping everything simple (no dramatics!) is what makes this serial different (so far!) form other "high voltage drama" serials.

Guys, how old is girish oak? He has maintained himself so well! He has all the charms needed for this role. Excellent casting!

Also, Nivedita saraf still looks so pretty...although, i feel the botox/nip-tuck around her chin is kind of obvious. But acting perfect aahe!

Worst casting has to be soham...not just is his character annoying, he looks much younger than shubhra, they lack chemistry and he cant emote to save his life.

TP is strictly meh....its like she never recovered from HSMYG fever adn still is a janhavi at heart!

Tuesday, Wednesday back to back good episodes👍🏼! Yesterday, the best scene IMO was Aajoba- Aasavari's one when Aajoba asks Aasavari to get his cheque book, asks her to take him to the bank.....! Both RP & NJ were just fantastic! Even though Aajoba controls everyone in the family, especially Aasavari, he can not tolerate any outsider making fun of Aasavari. He knows the worth of his DIL very well.

Soham actually deserves a tight slap either by Aasavari or Aajoba. But it's too late now, the boy is grown up and married.

The episodes continue to be good though it is getting a bit too mushy with Asavari regularly in tears.

I have not seen the movie Lunchbox but way that the messages have been exchanged in this serial, could the idea have been picked from that movie?

Ajoba's hard exterior covers a soft heart gives hope that there may not be too big a resistance from him when Asavari-Abhijeet milan is announced.

Maddy has been toned down quite a bit since the first episode (by changing the actress) and she now seems to be doing reasonably well ( a bit of overacting can be permitted in her minuscule role).

Looking at the taunting dialogues of Soham, is it a hint that Asavari will start working in Abhi's kitchen and earn more than Soham and cause further heartburn for him? I hope they don't take Asavari down the path of Radhika Masale.
