Well, its common to hear regular hooting and whistling in a single screen. Other than that, single screens are owned by the government so the ticket rates are nominal compared to multiplexes.

I don’t even think they have single screens here in England, but they sound so fun, would love to experience it!

If you haven't ever witnessed bhai's entry scene in a single screen theatre, toh kya desi theater ka mazaa liya yaar. Isse better ghar par dekh lete.😃

And in interval you can avail of chhota Parle G biscuits, cutting chai, and yes, cheap cigarettes if you're into that. Jannat. Popcorn wopcorn sab feeka hai... 😆
