She is presently in a situation where her ex is troubling her and she has full trust that RB wont say her anything and she can do whatever she wants. If he gets angry, some or other way do all sort of nakhres like today and ensure he listens to her. But she will never correct her own mistake that he highlighted previous night regarding ex troubling her.
Had he continued to be mad at her, there wud have been progress in her wrt ex matter. Like she felt ashamed n afraid n embarassed when she saw her husband near kitchen.
