Today’s gift segment brought me smile and also tears. As Niki rightly said the missing of Meera beside VJ did make an impact… their smiles together…. The way they used to pull their legs and at the same time always compliment each other…………….. missing…………..Especially the Bournville chocolates which Meera cutie used to always grab first………………… Something about the gift and the togetherness make me reminded of the K Jodi………………………

It was past six months…. She had her further ultrasounds and checkups on her own as the Devil was busy with unprecedented call of duty.
The K-Jodi were quite busy with their schedules…but he was not travelling too much and was trying to be beside her as far as possible.
She indeed had her mood swings but she managed it but if Suraj was there he bore the brunt of it…. she would say he was not taking care of her or say she wanted hot jilebi with choco sauce and by the time it was given she would change it for Rabdi with gulab jamoon. The strategist knew as the cook old Vimla kaaki did mention about it to Suraj and more.
He had planned to take her to Aligarh for a break but she had her bouts of back pain due to long hours of standing at the OT so the gynae advised her not to travel much….
The Commissioner was also playing his role with the Home ministry of not trying to move Suraj too far and Ajay was indeed stepping in ofcourse without Suraj’s knowledge as they wanted him to be with the Doctor.
It was one of the surgery day and it was very complicated that she had to perform for 6 hours…. She was too tired that she went to her room and slept off… There had been so many missed calls from Suraj, he called Tanu and got to know that she indeed slept in her room. He rushed to pick her but on seeing her sleeping, tears rolled down… Tanu was beside him… She helped him carry her to the jeep without disturbing her.
He placed her on the bed sitting beside her was caressing and massaging her legs which were swollen, with hot water bag….
He sat beside her holding her in his arms and she hugged him unknowingly…. She was sleep talking which she had developed in her pregnancy….
Suraj, thank you so much for giving me this little life as now I don’t feel lonely as I talk to our child.. He was caressing her face which was so plain and innocent… I sometimes feel angry with you Suraj as I miss your presence but then I feel sad that I was angry with you as you cannot always be my side…. I love you Devil she sleep smiled. I told our little one that you are the best daddy in the world.
He just hugged her close to him….please be angry with me and shout at me and don’t keep your emotions within he talked to her….I could not make it for the scans… I am sorry he said… his drops of tears fell on her which made her wake up.
She was surprised to see herself on the bed but hugged him tight when he smiled saying Angel how are you and my little one he said….. Hmmm we are angry with you she said turning her back which made him hold her bump… nuzzling her he asked why? We want to eat vadapav but you never get me she said showing her pout.
In a minute, saying he got up when she said no no please I don’t want… don’t leave us… stay with us… he hugged her saying I am sorry… for I am not taking care… she caressed his hands No don’t feel sorry we love you don’t we she asked her little one when they both felt a thud the belly protruding. Suraj Suraj she was excited holding her hands on her belly… did you feel it ..the naughty one kicked… kicked…. He felt so emotional feeling that kick on his and again one more…. Emotions overpowering they both hugged each other and stayed in each other’s embrace... for long… he was just holding her preciously and she in his warmth of his hug and due to tiredness slept again.
She woke up to see the room was closed and dark and he was not to be seen. She thought that Suraj would have left for his duty… she got up to refresh when she saw a beautiful saree beside her on the bed and a note Angel …. Wear this and be ready….. will be back…………….Love Darling…
It was a blue colour soft mysore silk saree and a beautiful jacquard blouse… Not knowing what it was for she wore while she heard few voices in the drawing….
She came out and was in awe, shock, surprise and in tears…
The drawing was beautifully decorated with a swing with flowers opposite to Pankaj Khatri’s picture. Tanu,Ajay, The Commissioner, the Chief and helpers along with kaaki were there with smiles…
Tanu ran to Chakor and hugged her…
Whats all this? Chakor asked and where is Suraj…..
He walked in with a big tray full of flowers and two small boxes…
Tanu said….how is the surprise…. My dear friend….. Suraj wanted to do the baby shower ceremony for you… So he suddenly planned and called us….
She was tooo emotional….He too…and he was lost in her beauty with her lovely bumb. He walked with his simple blue Sherwani matching with her mysore silk saree.
Baby shower.... for me....? she asked with tears in her eyes… Wiping her tears he said yes and thanks to Kaaki….She only told me..
She was made to sit on the swing…. Tanu and Kaaki applied her chandan while the others wished her good. The couple took the blessings of Khatri and the other elders present.
They all had the dinner and wished the couple and the helpers and the cook too left for their rooms.
She felt so emotional….. he applied the chandan on her hands, cheeks and kissed her forehead... He sat on the swing beside her hugging and gave her the two small boxes.
Whats this? she asked….
Open.. he said. She opened to find awed…… there were two beautiful solitaire rings…. He got up and went on his knees holding her hands............Everything happened so fast and you came in my life… I feel the friendship band we tied for each other is more of value but Chakor I felt and missed that joy of proposing you with a ring… so here to my loving Angel who is carrying our symbol of love… I love you and will you always love this Devil who cannot be beside you ...He teared saying it....….
She bent herself down pressing her forehead with his and said… Yes Yes I love you and will love you forever and ever my Devil…. My Darling… thank you for showering me with so much love…
She cried shaking when he hugged her… please no tears….
He slid the ring in to her fingers and kissed her fingers….
Suraj… will you too love this Arrogant one who know nothing other than to love you. He said yes…smiling at her My Arrogant Angel of Love… I love you too much... way too much.. I will love you till I breathe my last he said...….She slid the ring in to his, kissed and held to her eyes...
The chimer above Mr.Khatri too chimed giving an auspicious sign of blessing the couple.
They hugged each other when the little one did give its sign of joy by kicking him… Ooops he said…looks like the little one is also like the Daddy Devil….. not allowing to touch my Angel…
She smiled…… hugging him placing a soft kiss on his forehead….Devil or Angel but none can stop this Darling touching his Angel... she said with shy.
I love you they said to each other and went to bed embracing each other in to a sweet slumber.
She sleep talked…………… I told you sweetheart your dad is the best no no my Devil is the best one can get… and none can get like him.
He smiled hugging her close….. and none can get an Angel like you…. The little one kicked his hands which was over the belly, acknowledging him….
