Neither. Nice try comparing DP with Sonam. DP can’t be like Sonam if she wants to. It’s just not in her to think about others if it comes to her own self vs others. She’s is all about herself. She would use anyone to get ahead unlike Sonam who cares and loves her loves one and those she cares about. Sonam doesn’t use them and disrespect them. DP doesn’t even respect her own husband. Other than her parents and her sister, DP has used everyone for her selfishness. And who knows she may have used her parents and her sister too which we just don’t know about. And as for talent, she doesn’t have that either. The only part where she’s a bit better than Sonam is her dancing skills and that’s saying a lot seeing DP herself is average in dancing. Rest she lacks in everything.

She would have been as successful as now.

Sonam actually has a great personality for a starkid. She has flaws and problem areas but she's quite nice.

It's Sonam over Deepika for me anytime if you ask about the personality..

At least Sonam blatantly expresses whatever goes through her mind rather than faking anything. While Deepika does most of the activities to get attention from the public and the media, the Luv Ranjan fiasco made me lose respect for her.

It's not the personality that kept Deepika ahead, it's her script choice and the luck of working with the top notch directors. The lucky girl had a debut with SRK and could hold her consistency since ever, along with just a few flops in between.

So yea, I think her personality has helped her, but she is more talented then Sonam that even with a more lousy personality she would've been more successful then Sonam...

Exactly!! Even I find Deepika to be boring in some of her interviews because she's always trying to be diplomatic. But when I watch Sonam, her arrogance and ignorance make it just unbearable. Oopar se her weird raspy voice and fake accents, it's such a pain to see her offscreen. And even if you get through it somehow, her dumb opinions, hypocritical stands and outrageous SM statements will just remove any nice feelings you may have about her. Sonam has only and only one thing in her favour and that's her fashion. The moment she opens her mouth, it's all downhill from there.

Deepika is always so sweet though, just like you said, she comes across as relatable and respectable. Someone who's behaviour people want to model their own on, her lack of starry airs are a major plus point for her. That's why people like her more and those like Sonam less. Whether it's fake or real, but those who conduct themselves with dignity in public life always benefit from it. Look at Katrina 🤪

Deepika would not have gotten anywhere with Sonam's uglyass personality. She literally said ugly people are considered good actors because they are ugly. Just because madam herself hasn't learned anything other than whining,she thinks people mock her acting skills because she is beautiful Deepika kya nobody that delusional,disrespectful and condescending could achieve anything on their own. Just like she hasnt. The weirdest and the most talentless product of nepotism.
