And here, 10 months of KZK, I guess I have connected to his performance the most and its his performance alone because of which I tune to hotstar to see glipmses of his performances these days.. Given the KZK storyline, I would have left the show long back but its the performance of Parth that has made me to stick to the show.. After 10 months of KZK, I stopped watching episodes from the time he had no scenes [ London track] and this week, I fast-forwarded through his scene..

Also, I like the way he tries to convey his feelings even if dialogues don't do justice... Even in the last episode, We had B say "Stay away.. etc etc warna" and P uses his eyes/expressions to respond with "warna kya" without a dialogue..

Also, appreciate EK for choosing him for the role despite the past... Choosing him just by his pic cause she found his eyes emoting.. It was definitely a good choice indeed!😊

Glad to be proved wrong of my initial assumption. Hoping that his web show gives him a different opportunity and more recognition and more interesting work..

Bubble break ..... I feel It’s Vikas who referred him ..... but yes It’s Ekta who chose him and the new webseries selection is solely his Talent .

Also I’m seriously not that excited for AltBalaji webseries, 90% of them are thrash ...but hope it gives him enough creative satisfaction that is lacking in KZK 😆

Yeah, referral could be possibility but EK wouldn't just chose anyone based on V's ref.. Lot of actors discovered by him haven't made much to major BT shows and KZK was ambitious project of hers.. So, yeah.. As you said Choosing him was definitely her decision..

And agree about alt shows, I'm hoping its among the 10% as he said its off-beat etc...

Parth is slaying with his portrayal of anurag basu. Anu's everything that you will expect a human to be. The best part, he's not always right... He commits mistakes but isn't that how we all are. We learn from our experiences and so does he. He stays true to his commitments and his loved ones are his priority. Once you are in his priority books, he wont right you off. Thats the man... Thats anurag basu for you.

And parth... No one could have played it well. Given how the character flipped in s1, it was a challenge in itself to portray anurag and make a mark. But he did it and he won it all. A good actor is the one who makes you feel what the character goes thru. If he's negative, he'll invoke that fear, anger and hatred in you and when he's postive, he'll make you laugh, cry, love and feel thru his journey. To me parth as anurag does just that. He's makes me happy and he makes me sad. But holds me captive with his performance.

LOL.... IKR ... playing Anurag ...LMAO..

Parth surely had no idea abt KZK season1 and even if he had any idea he would still have gone for KZK....

but what matters how much you make out of that character .... and he clearly has made ppl notice Anurag this season... there stays his victory !!!

He was bad in crying scene ...but I really did felt for Anurag and his state and then Nivi being his support and how difficult it will be for a sister to see her Brother like that ...

And that solo scene in that dark room ...and the yest AnuPre scene ...the Angst ..The Chemistry ...Ohhlalala....

So I'm waiting for these guys to bounce back ....

Infact, I didn't feel like watching him on screen before this , But the way he acted in khwabfaroshi blew my mind away.. swiss was better than what he was doing uptil next week 😆 but it's just my opinion..I didn't pay much attention to the confrontation scene also between anurag prerna but now when it comes in flashback, it looks very good..that stoned expression he has excelled in, disbelief , hurt , pain , and then breakdown .. all in one scene..

Happened with me too..I saw the first episode of kzk for erica as i loved her in kuch rang..but the story set up was so jarring that I ignored it for a long time .

Parth says romance is his forte but i think he would do wonders in gray roles and antagonists at well..as an actor They should not always work on their strengths..so this new angst avtaar of anurag I am enjoying a lot..although I don't like his ruffled hair look and I prefer him clean shaven.😆

Khwaabfaroshi was my only take away from swiss track ... and kudos to the BTS team who shot it at such high Production value 😆. That song got more popularity from KZk and other BT show then the movie 😆

He was literally sleep walking in London wala scenes .....I won’t blame him though.Erica in one of her Intv said Parth discusses with writer/directors to understand logic behind that scene .... ( Okaayyy 🤣 poor Parth still expects some logic in the scenes )

One good part about him working on KZK was it gave him opportunity to explore different shades of character from being innocent, broken , anger, obsession to even comical timing.. He can definitely do complex roles.. I can't think of any other actor currently on TV doing justice to this role..

Its sad that they edited out the song from the sequence due to copyrights.. 😔

And not just expects, I think she kinda implied that he gets the dialogues/ scenes updated a bit to make it sensible or logical as she said He does "once more" before the shot itself to get the scenes/script sorted to put some logic into the scene..

Fabulous post rs! So brilliantly described..thanks a lot .🤗. ..and you too my friend..absolutely awesome.. last time I heard about seven stages of love in another ektas serial..dil.hi toh hai..and you've written it here. I am bookmarking it..thanks so much..

Mostly its the character which makes you fall in love with the actor..this happened with me when i saw his first serial 6 months back..and now in kzk its the opposite.. it's the actor who is making me watch this phitte muh serial 😆 sorry for my language. But i completely agree with sneha , he is the best actor in kzk2 right now and he has earned it. He has made a very ordinary character extra ordinary for me . I could feel myriad of emotions through his eyes alone . I never wanted to see kzk 2 n i used to tell my friend whenever he is on screen his eyes attract me and I couldnt keep off kzk2 after that.. ..then komo track was on and his character was at an all time low..yet he made the best out of whatever shit story and scenes were given to him..kudos to him ...it's for him that I want kzk2 to work and be successful..

The sadist in me wanted him to play this devdas role . I was sure he will nail it and he wont disappoint.. look at swiss episodes he is ammmazing . Last week or ten days he wasn't that good but he bounced back this week . And how.. 👏 the way he looks into bajajs eyes and challenges him , shallow sahi, all the threats.. it's so impactful ..He is a real discovery. And this season ms ekta, try as much as you can , you cannot CANNOT ignore anurag..who knows this season turns out to be different ? Kuch bhi possible hai.

Pleasure reading all the views.. so aptly put 👏

Thank you.

@Bold True- He has the most twinkling eyes! They glimmer with hope and fall flat with misery within a fraction of a second! How very lovely, isn't it?

The following write-up is not particularly your reply but general commentary on the sentiments of people who compare and try to prove who is better.

As a neutral audience who adores all the three characters and actors, it's difficult to devote a fierce dedication to any single person. For me, it's about characters and Jodis do not matter. I love Anupre as well as PreRish. It's a task to explain that people create momentum in stories. Comparison of actors is something which is unrealistic! Characters reflect the way a person acts. Anurag has been given freedom of expression and Parth shines through the depth of emotions. Rishabh, on the contrary, has been given the chains of restraint and KSG nails it by stoical equanimity in his expressions.

There can be no Kasauti without Anurag, why would he be ignored! Who cares, who ends up with whom?

I love the dynamics these two couples share and I have often compared them with Fire and Ice! If Anurag is Fire that burns and consumes, Rishabh is ice that thaws and numbs! Both perfect, yet imperfect in their own right

I just happily ignore the awful kitchen drama, theatrical hysterical bouts of Mohini and kitchen politics, and focus only on the journey of these three people.

On the verge of sounding redundant, will quote Robert Frost again:-

Some say the world will end in fire,

Some say in ice.

From what I’ve tasted of desire

I hold with those who favor fire.

But if it had to perish twice,

I think I know enough of hate

To say that for destruction ice

Is also great

And would suffice.

Lots of Lubb,

Piu
