Struggles with intimacy. I see him struggling to express much with Prerna too. He talks openly and non-chalantly to everyone but with Prerna, he struggles. She challenges him with her fearlessness when it comes to standing face to face with him.

I had once watched the movie -Valkyrie. I remember the dialogue before the shooting of Colonel Staffenberg who was sentenced for planning the assassination of Adolf Hitler. He says with a courage so defiant- Look at them in the eyes when they shoot you. They will never be able to forget you!

Somehow, this stands true for Prerna. She stares back at him. Looks at him in the eyes. Fearless, unleashed, all her emotions revealed on her face. She is guarded physically but emotionally she is defiant, expressive and fearless in front of Rishabh. The only time she fears is for Anurag. Rishabh considers her naive and foolish but deep down in his heart, he cannot look at her. He has a heart, remember? His heart tells him that he robbed the dreams of this young girl, stole her love and caged her! But that’s subconscious. He is not apologetic, neither he is guilty! This discomfort is purely because of his own turmoil. He will not allow his heart to reach his ears! But, we all know, in the end, the heart has a rhythm of it’s own, isn’t it?
