Half of the times that is the case. That guilty feel, just to sort of divert the attention of the child. That's the cases in most of the households. But, I guess that's natural in a way. They feel the kids must not start back answering, and they use such language. And somewhere they have that fear if the child will leave them alone in their old age, or dump them in an old age home...

Entry right at the most apt time and without mincing her words as is her wont, said all the right things. She is amazing!!!!

Not only did NB fix babita but also saved Minni.

Wow.

completely agree. Ego is not yet solved . Otherwise babita wouldnt have conveniently blamed mini for staying in a marriage with ashok and guilt tripped her more for life . As it is as mickey said she lives only for her babes, she would do that more. The truth is that she had no where to go after her parents death. She did not go where she & mini would go n live if she left ashok. The concern was for herself also not only for mini. And secondly you are responsible for your kid its not an ehsaan which you will show when time arises. And babita stayed in the marriage because she liked to believe all was well, and ashok would come back. it was not because of mini. But she would have never had the strength to leave if mini hadnt pushed her. And here she is blaming mini for it. this is a new low for me from babita. Hanuman is an adult he will know how to be not guilt tripped for life by babitas behaviour & words, but Mini, the harm today she was going to inflict on her would be really serious & for life. Thank god for Naimbi. I just wish hanuman comes to know of what she said to mini & call her out for it. Mini is his responsibility also after all now

And im sorry to see today that babita is that kind of a mother. The jewellery returning scene was one and what she did today is even worse than that. thank god for Hanuman & naim bi in Mini's life. I really felt for her today

Oh my goodness, the way she told Minnie that everything she had done was because of her made me so mad. Thank goodness NB arrived when she did, otherwise Minnie would've been scarred.

You know, I was very happy that this marriage would give HS some security about being able to keep Minnie in his life forever and mentor and guide her. Now I feel that on top of the security she would get as a daughter, she gets a very positive female role model in the form of her grandmother, Naeem Bi, from whom she can really learn a lot about how to open her mind and heart to the world and how to genuinely be sensitive towards others. Babita is ill-equipped to provide such a reference even if she is her mother.

I don't think this ego of Babita's or her insecurities or baggage from the past has disappeared completely. Every time someone calls her out on her behavior she temporarily acts upon it, then does something again in future. She is sure to do something like this after the marriage and just you watch HS become a lion protecting his cub Minnie from her own mother.

I am eagerly awaiting those co-parenting conflicts regarding Minnie.

Whether your kids look after you in your old age or not is really up to them at the end of the day. No matter what you do, you cannot guarantee this.

Exactly! Because of that fear, they end up behaving like the over protective , over possessive and sometimes just too controlling...

She's such a rockstar. I want to write to Sandhya ji to show my respect and appreciation for her work. She's a fabulous actress who never ever fails to make you see anything but Naeem Bi. She really gets into the skin of the character.

Is she on Twitter?

And props to the writers for creating this character.

Uff! That jewelry returning scene had really pissed me off. Back then Babita didn't understand but I can't believe she hadn't reflected on those things. It needed Minnie to remind her today, and her expression was as though this was the first time such a thought had entered her mind.
