@Jean - this whole position comes from the insecurity than she has been thrown away once in life. She mentions that too. She doesn't want to be used again. And this makes me believe that she still doesn't trust him enough. Ek baar that faith comes, then nothing can come in between. No ego or anything else.

What if someday, HS' love and continuous unconditional support supercedes her own ego and makes her surrender herself wholly? So that doubt is very automatically resolved.

(Note that this is what the PH has been talking about, settling the past.)

I think she has enjoyed being in a position of power in this 'relationship' knowing that he pined for her and that she had the ability to say yes or no and decide their future. She has also always known what kind of man he is, that he would wait for a lifetime for her to open up if he needed to. Meeta coming in made her insecure and then this whole Imarti episode because his memories of her weren't just faded away or buried somewhere, they were still very much breathing and living.

By asking her to go away from his life through his harsh words, and then putting Imarti's photo on the wall to show her place in his life, HS had, in Babita's view, effectively put Imarti first. He had tried to drive Babita away because of Imarti and the case, she had come second for him then even though she had finally decided by that time that she would make him come first in her life.

By putting a condition like that she made it clear that she wanted him to always choose her as his first option, even over Imarti, even over the hurtful words he had spoken to her because of Imarti. Her pride and jealousy would not let her even think of being second on his list.

I completely agree.

that's why I had also called her a tease. In fact I used a bad word for it. That's why she was blow hot blow cold, wanted to know how much hold she had on him at least that's what came across to me also. She kept fanning his passion because it made her feel good and wanted but she never really had feelings for him, not to the same extent quite definitely.

I have always felt that both mother and daughter had kind of looked down upon HS status wise, his language, etc.

Honestly for me had Patiala Babes been only Babita and Minnie, I would have quit ages back. For me the whole getting addicted to it started only after HS came on the scene. And without him there is no Patiala babes for me.

What a tremendous actor Anirudh is!! he has hijacked a story which is supposed to revolve around babes who is such a subdued blink and you won;t even notice character!

I didn't even watch the initial episodes. I started watching it from HS' entry and then just fast forwarded the episodes to watch his parts. Even now, when he's not on screen, I do the same.

For sure. Not only does she not trust him fully, she doesn't trust her own fate either. She's worried it might be too good to be true.
