I am sorry to say this but I just can't find it in me to support Babita at this point. It started from her behavior the night she took on the challenge to stop him from drinking and for me it has gone downhill.

She doesn't take the time to introspect and continues to play the victim card. If she took even an hour to remember every single thing he has done for her since they met, she would never be this way.

Fine, she has insecurities and resentment from her past life, but she has always spoken about them to him in the past. It's not like he never listened or helped her. He always has. When she indirectly proposed to him, I thought she had genuinely meant all that about jagah. But now I understand that she is nowhere close to being there.

I am expecting her insane jealousy regarding Imarti to come to the fore, and I think part of that propelled her to put that condition in front of him. The whole court case and events around it were because of Imarti anyway, and she finally saw a glimpse of the depth of his emotion for his dead wife.

Don't be sorry. It's how you genuinely feel.

Personally, the daaru scene was a lost cause but her actions following that day didn't help either. It was so confusing for me. On one hand she was able to interpret Imarti's letter - a woman whom she has only heard of, and seen a single picture of. But she couldn't understand HS' feelings?

Even when she reflects upon what he has done, it feels off. She feels gratitude and thanks him for it as if he has done a favor on her. A fact that pisses him off to no end because that is not his intention.

Again, I can understand her feeling a bit insecure but he has chosen her. After Imarti, it was her whom he fell in love with. That has to mean something.

But they have to redeem Babita’s character at some point. And this is how they can do it... where she actually introspects and realizes that her ego shouldn’t be above her love. They could be in some situation where HS thinks Babita ego will again come between, but she surprises him by not letting her ego come in between. Otherwise what is the freaking point of everything they have shown about HS and Babita’s progress so far.

On a serious note, CVs should show some flashback about Ashok Babita where the ego played a role. They need to give it a stronger foundation rather than only Poonam saying it.

Honestly for me had Patiala Babes been only Babita and Minnie, I would have quit ages back. For me the whole getting addicted to it started only after HS came on the scene. And without him there is no Patiala babes for me.

What a tremendous actor Anirudh is!! he has hijacked a story which is supposed to revolve around babes who is such a subdued blink and you won;t even notice character!

Tell me about it. You'd think that with all the complexities and layers and challenges they had set up for Babita that she would make a solid place in my heart. It hasn't happened.

One more thing, I'd refrained from saying this but now I will just have to.

I think she has enjoyed being in a position of power in this 'relationship' knowing that he pined for her and that she had the ability to say yes or no and decide their future. She has also always known what kind of man he is, that he would wait for a lifetime for her to open up if he needed to. Meeta coming in made her insecure and then this whole Imarti episode because his memories of her weren't just faded away or buried somewhere, they were still very much breathing and living.

By asking her to go away from his life through his harsh words, and then putting Imarti's photo on the wall to show her place in his life, HS had, in Babita's view, effectively put Imarti first. He had tried to drive Babita away because of Imarti and the case, she had come second for him then even though she had finally decided by that time that she would make him come first in her life.

By putting a condition like that she made it clear that she wanted him to always choose her as his first option, even over Imarti, even over the hurtful words he had spoken to her because of Imarti. Her pride and jealousy would not let her even think of being second on his list.
