The issue is you feel and connect with the character's pain even if he / she doesn't show it or is least affected by it like in RB's case. But when one connects and feels his/her pain and also feels sorry for the unjustice done to the character,you know that the character has BECOME the Audience's Favourite. Which is what RB is already in just two months time with very little ss.

he is very detached, practical, non-delusional and focused .. he has his priorities set there, he doesn't care or care to show that he is alone.. he has lived all his life like that kaunsa this is first time he is alone ..
