Kunal and Kuhu the sacrificial lambs in Meenu games

Meenu made a ordinary happy go lucky man like Kunal filled with hate, dejection and rejection. He was willing to find love with Shweta, Mishti but is now suffering from the baggage of his mothers games and cannot go over even with normal day to day life. Actually poor Kunal did not hide the unhappiness in the marriage, and revealed it to all most importantly Mishti. Abhir did not reveal the most imp fact of Kunal running away.

Kuhu is layered, has shades of grey, not sure if she eill become grey or white, but her life is gonna change for the worse with Kunal telling the truth of this illfated marriage.

Abir chose a girl who he felt would help find solutions to relationships including that of finding his elusive father( i remember Abir telling Nanu Mishti will be able to find his father). Kunal was not given choice of finding the girl that he wanted.

i agree that big ben has a big hand on what have become of kunal now..but i feel it's not completely her..kunal has his own problems..he has anger issues and also is egoistic as hell..also gets manipulated easily and has self-victimizing mentality

Kunal gets manipulated by his mother, all children do actually, since it was not Abir Meenu did not think on using kunal as pawn in hef war with Maheshwaris

While I partly get your point, I disagree to a large extent. Kunal did not have a choice because he created this situation for himself. He created the impression that he loved Kuhu. He created the impression that he wants get to get married to her. He created the impression that he will elope with Kuhu if his mom doesn't relent. He created the impression that he wanted Sourav's potential alliance with Kuhu to break and goaded Abir and nanu to speak to her family. He willingly went through all the rituals. He willingly did everything he could to convince Abir and Mishti that he loves Kuhu. Only because his mom said so. Only because he had a twisted definition of protecting his brother and plotted along with his mom to separate him from Mishti. Even when he eloped, he could have confessed to Abir that it was a ploy and he does not want to marry. Instead he again blamed it all on Mishti. Creating the impression that if not for her, he will marry Kuhu. And this lead to Abir believing that his mom is brainwashing him. Even at the last moment, he could have come clean and broken the marriage himself instead of depending on his mom. Yes Meenu is a pathetic mother and Abir was desperate to get Kunal married but what about Kunal's brains? How did he think it was okay to use a girl (who is innocent from his POV) and her feelings just to separate his brother from an 'evil woman'? You reap what you sow and thats exactly what is happening with Kunal. I honestly felt bad even for Kuhu to an extent because she is dumb, delusional and nasty to Mishti but at least genuinely excited to get married. No girl deserves to get married in such a scenario. But Kunal frankly is a victim of his own actions. And even now there is zero introspection on his part. He is blaming his mom, Mishti, maybe Abir and in future probably Kuhu but nothing will change till he introspects and grows up.

Agreed that meenakshi has a bigger hand in this, but kunal is not a child to get manipulated that easily, he's a business man, they atleast use their mind if not heart

If kunal was a good person in past, he should feel atleast little bit of guilt that he's literally separating a girl from her family just because she rejected him and also betraying other girl by acting in front of her that he loves her

He has a big fat male ego and when he found that meenu also has same ideas about mishti that she's manipulator and all, his ego got satisfaction and he joint his hands with meenu to separate mishti from abir, even without taking with abir about it ,abir got best business man award and he thought that mishti could manipulate him 🙄

Kunal had the option of saying 'no'. He put himself in this situation to take advantage of this rishta for his/his mother's means. And even after things didn't go his way, he had the choice to come clean numerous times before tying the knot. Instead, he went with everything while complaining that he is being forced into a meaningless relationship because of Mishti.

He never said that lol. In that particular conversation he said how he wants to find his fahter but he always hesitates but in contrast Mishti never shies away from doing something she wants and she usually does the right thing

I respect your POV but Kunal is a grown up and a full blown adult who apparently has graduated from Harvard and also overseas two businesses. So, yeah he is not some dumb two year old who can easily get swayed by his mother. His problem is his inability too see other people's perspective and his inability to make decisions for himself. Not once have we gotten scene on where he reflects that it was actually due to his toxic behavior that Mishti called of the engagement. Instead at numerous occasions he claims he is misunderstood and acts like a victim. Even in the current track he could have easily put a stop to all of this but instead of being honest to a girl who loves him he rather chooses to exploit her feelings in his favor.

Bold :Abir never said this he only said how Mish never hesitates from choosing a course of action

Abir had the choice because he doesn't have the emotional range of a two year old he takes responsibility for his actions and makes his own decisions
