Babita can’t be this insensitive, selfish, egoistic. I am not able to connect to babita’s character arc right now.

Also, can Mini stop being Babita’s mother? She needs to stop babying Babita and think that she needs to shield her or protect her. I am so freaking frustrated at the show right now 😡

Minnie is used to protecting Babita and fulfilling all her whims and wishes. Even she'll need some time to learn to stop doing that.

All equations in the show currently need a time out, or woh toh milnese raha....

She made up for it, yes, but I need to know that she won't pull off a stunt like this the next time her ego is hurt.

Again, it's all contextual for me. If Babes had been honest about her reason for leaving, I would have been fine. I would have supported her too. But for her to hide behind this blatant lie that tarnished HS' image - it didn't sit right with me. I know everyone didn't believe it but there was still this element present where HS was made out to be the bad guy whereas she was the victim and was only acting this way as a means of self-preservation.

I don't even know if I made sense right now. 🤔

I am sure they will end up sorting it... and this relationship will not be only for Minnie...

Today I felt Hanuman went up only for Minnie... although once upstairs I felt he genuinely was interested in Babita's smile too...

I am sure Jean will have better interpretations but for me, there were two interpretations of Minnie's diary scene:

  1. The one interpretation was that she understood the reality, the hurdles, but she also looked it from another angle and decided to be positive and hopeful, instead of worrying over it and be negative about the whole thing... I felt she had confidence in Hanuman's maturity and sensibility and hoped he'll handle her...
  2. For a brief moment, I felt she was turning into Babita. Though I dismissed the thought then and there but the feeling stayed. For 17 year Babita lived in false hopes and dreams... running away from reality, not even looking at it... had Babita looked at the reality in the eye, she wouldn't have stayed with Ashok for this long... Today, Minnie saw the reality and turned eyes away... she dismissed the thought that the relationship might not work... instead of looking at the problem, like her mother, she decided to run away from it!

Pehli baat to aap aise mat bola karo ji. Everyone here has fab insights and we all love reading them.

Doosri baat, both your points are correct. That's exactly what they were trying to show. Minnie is trying to be optimistic even if she knows that something is wrong. She wasn't trying to escape but she didn't want to let negative thoughts cloud her happiness either. I felt bad that instead of enjoying these moments as a child, she has to worry about such grown-up stuff, but then again, she's not a child anymore. These are her formative years, and he is her father, her hero. She will not end up like Babita. In fact, I feel that after seeing what her mother went through in terms of silent suffering in a relationship, she will spot the signs of HS being in the same state because of her own mother and that will turn things around completely.

The fact is that no matter how much Minnie and HS love and adore each other, their bond cannot replace the vacuum that would be created if Babita and HS' relationship did not work out.

They suffer and everyone else gets saved. Here, our hero is admitting that he will do it because he has no other option, not because he has to save anyone but because there is no one else who can drink this poison that Babita is spewing.

As the man who committed his heart and soul to her and her life partner, he has to pay the price for her deeds. Lord Shiva was able to consume the poison but was still affected by it despite being so powerful, and in some version of the mythology, Parvati had stopped it spreading beyond his throat by putting her healing touch on it. This hero, however, acknowledges that he is only human, not God, so what chance did he have of surviving, of preventing the poison from decaying his heart and spreading to the rest of him, that too without a Parvati who had a healing touch?

I am not a Hindu. I am not aware of these mythologies... but then didn't you say Babita was earth and Hanuman was fire? Why have we lost hope? What if Babita becomes Parvati well in time? I am sure she can heal him too...

Yes u do...

u know I felt from that day when Babita lady the haveli giving reasons of not staying with a murderer her character assassination has been done... She left the house hiding behind a reason... O have told that day as well she would left the first thing in the morning but she didn't do it...

Just like when he said sorry she would have cut the conversation and would have talked something else but she didn't do that and that's more hurting...

But I m sure writers will rectify it and sort it out soon..

Just when you thought you had seen the best of their father-daughter moments, HS stumps you by telling his daughter that she really was the most gorgeous girl in the world. He saw how pure her heart was, and how alike they both were. The way his face softened was just something else. He is not just in over-protective father mode, he is also in sacrificial mode. I hope Minnie will help him snap out of it.

Yes it was a brilliant way to connect to that scene, which was also the start of hints about her desire.

To all those who said that Babita has moved on, I say nope. She still has too much baggage from her past. She is still comparing Ashok and HS and punishing HS indirectly for Ashok's mistakes. Let's see how they show Babita and her journey to maturity.

Where HS would have once been over the moon knowing that Babita was selecting clothes for the wedding, here he couldn't even get himself to go to see her. Minnie's request melted his heart and her innocence and optimism thawed his resolve. Why do I get the feeling that after a point, he will go through with this wedding just for Minnie?

HS is going to bottle it up and decay on the inside (or let the poison eat his insides) or explode one day if this goes on for too long. I think Minnie has sensed it deep down but is trying to look the other way and stay optimistic. The day HS loses it, I will be curious to see if she does indeed still support her mother and leave with her, in which case HS will be left alone. I think along with HS it will also be a test of Minnie's love for her father and for his teachings.

They haven't even talked of the wedding and all the preparations are in full force. What the heck??

Oh Jean how can you even manage to see through this and analyze ..

It was damn painful to watch him .. every word that he said, we had said it out loud yesterday and didn't realize it until he emoted it on screen .. Uff .. the poison, pain & suffocation ..

Just not in the state to discuss it .. I will probably end up reading everybodys comments today
