But my point is why use that word for a girl? Whoever she maybe to him in past. What makes him think that she cannot have akad? Who is he to judge her attitude and how much shud she have.

With maasi Prerna though was confused .. i felt she never trusted what maasi said about Mr.Bajaj ...that he would have filed case against her mom ,... none of those words mattered to her... all her focus was on trying to get her maa out of jail...despite Maasi's instigation .

Mohini will never accept prerna and even if she does after few months she will accuse her and insult her. She takes her anger out on bajaj and he calmly listens to her rather then bashing her back that’s maturity. Explains stuff in baby steps so she overthinks it and sees her mistakes.

More than to save Veena, he wants to prove P wrong. That he is more responsible towards Veena than Mrs Bajaj.
