My reply within the moment will be my self-respect but it's upon reflection that I'm wondering if it was my ego talking instead.

As for him, he's constantly been patient. Am not sure if he has ever taken it to heart as he has never stated it. I've even outright asked it but he has always denied it. And regardless of how mad I've gotten at him or how many fights I've started, he's always been welcoming. He hasn't ever held me accountable for them, choosing to put them in the past. He holds the same mentality as HS in the sense that who knows why someone is mad? Kissi aur ka ghussa kissi aur par dal diya.

I am wondering if there will also be a commentary on conditioning men not to express their feelings, their pain or grieve openly due to social conditioning. Not all men are like that, though.

I hope there is.

We have seen HS state his frustrations and feelings openly with Lala, but when it comes to women, he refrains from doing so.

Agree. Today HS left his ego and asked for forgiveness. But Babita held on to her ego. She had the opportunity to say sorry too when HS said she too had hurt him in the past. But Babita did not. This is exactly what HS was telling Lala. Mini who is only 17 understood that Babita was wrong. But not Babita. This will create problems just like Poonam had predicted.

I am wondering now in her marriage with Ashok, Babita's ego was also at work. Ashok is low life. We know that. It takes two to tango. Babita too may have been at fault which the CVs might show in flashback.

Word!! He has been shown all white and all blackish grey things in babita.. plus we have been hearing his view points all the time.. dont think we have heard much of babita.. creatives need to balance all 3 characters.. right now its all HS and mini's character sketch have been more clear

No, when it comes to Babita he refrains but not with NB or Minnie. It's his over-protectiveness towards her that makes him avoid saying anything to her because he feels she has seen enough in life, as he was telling Lala.

Well, one can always apologize sincerely without the other person expecting it, and show them that your ego might make you behave in a certain way but that your love is above ALL of that at the end of the day. You can also show him that you understand he is being patient and that you don't take it for granted.

Yes, and I hope one day she realizes what the effect of her words were on him.

By the way, I just realized one thing. The morning started off in a dreamy, surreal kind of way with the whole proposal thing, and then when they were looking at each other across the street, it had a dreamy feel. Yet, when they had a moment alone reality came crashing down upon them.

Kudos to the CVs!

Yes, it takes work. Nothing is for free.

If Babita had to work hard for the business, she will have to work for this relationship too.

Sab hoga, don't worry.

They will weave a lovely tale around this. It will be hard at times but rewarding at others.

I remember HS once saying that even if he was an emotional person, he never let his emotions overtake his touch with reality. This will serve him well in the coming weeks and months.
