I knew this was coming. I had always felt she was not at his level in this relationship and he rightly said in the precap that he would have to take on the burden of making it work and progress. Huge test of his patience and thank goodness he has the maturity to guess where things are going and how to deal with it.
Loved how he understood exactly where she was coming from and knew how to respond in that situation. Must say he is going to show us more and more of his wisdom in handling this.
I did feel really bad for him, because he is so sensitive to her feelings and she is nowhere close. I know he is willing to be patient until she finally really understands him but in the process he is going to go through hell several times. I am sorry to say this but in her present state, she really is not worthy of him.
Beeji ko shaadi pakki karni hai but I don't think these two should get married any time soon. Babita has a lot to learn. What she was asking for was right but her approach and condition was totally wrong. She knew exactly what she was doing and even after what happened the last few days she did not consider his side of the story. It was almost vindictive. She could have expressed why she felt bad because that was important so that he could understand the depth of her hurt, and he would have apologized anyway, but removing his gift and making him apologize by putting forward a direct condition, and then asking for her jhumke back? She also offended him by asking whether he would "hide behind her ego" or choose his love. Dil tod diya uska. She didn't even pay attention the fact that he had pointed out her hurtful comments but that he chose not to take them to heart. Ugh, she has a loooooong way to go.
As HS had told NB aise na hota prem ka rishta. His is selfless, whereas hers is not exactly selfish but self-centered. Her nature has always been like this, so it comes as no surprise but over time she will have to learn to think about a spouse's feelings too. He is not Minnie or Dadu or Beeji. A life partner's expectations and wishes are quite different, and her comment about seizing her rights tells me there will be more take, take, take than give, give, give on her part. This is not the first or last time her ego will get in the way but I understand that CVs want to show us this journey. Baap to woh Minnie ka bana hai par parenting Babita ki karni padegi. I knew this was bound to happen.

Today was the first time Minnie realized her mother was wrong and with similar incidents in future she will likely take HS' "side" or see that her mother is not guileless after all. I felt really bad for HS - he had just proposed to her and had been over the moon and this is how it ended up.
That scene was very important and I just know that they will revisit it in future, maybe even when Babita realizes her mistake. I hope this time she realizes it herself and makes up for it. After what she did today, she owes him a big apology on top of the already overdue ones, especially the camera incident.
One thing I expect to see at some point is that HS' patience will wear thin accompanied by the stress of always having to walk on eggshells around her. The day he turns his back she will have lost everything. He is a man of his word but he's a human being after all. I hope she does not let it get to that stage where he pulls a Rhett Butler on her.

HS may be goaded to a stage where he pulls a Rhett Butler on her but she is no Scarlett O Hara either. Scarlett has way way way more shades than her.
