The case of marriage being legal or not is not black and white as such cases are not common. It is complicated. Naira was believed to be dead and he married after 5 years to move forward in life. The issue that Naira faked her death may work against her because she committed a fraud. Karthik didn't intentionally marry Vedika knowing Naira was alive so he is innocent in that respect. He married Vedika with the belief that he was a widow. (which is not illegal)

So if there is a case to validate Karthik and Naira's marriage it will be complicated and the fact that she hid her child makes her look even worse and weakens her case. A judge would say questioning a wife about infidelity is not illegal though Naira considers it immoral. He didn't break any law. By running away and pretending to be dead she did. What she did is fraud that is often done to collect insurance money when one fakes their death.

For me Naira lost any sympathy I had for her when she argued childishly with Karthik. I don't know if the dialogues were poorly written or she poorly executed it but it made her look like a teenager having a childish temper tantrum and her arguments were foolish. The dialogue delivery in that scene was very poor.

Running away is not a solution. First a child custody arrangement has to be made and that is a legal procedure. If there is a marriage issue then she should sign divorce papers. More than likely she can't go back to Goa and need to live in the same town so Karthik can also share in custody of the child. Does she really think she is free to runaway again with the child when Karthik without a doubt will want his parental rights? What world is she living in? I don't know how it is in India but usually the parent that can better financially support the child gets primary custody. Kairav is not a baby but a school aged child so he could be given to his father since he has a big family support system and the financial means to provide him a very good life. (he is a rich Goenka) Naira was a yoga instructor barely able to pay her monthly bills.

She and karthik need to live in the same city so they can both be in kairavs life. I don’t know if these writers are going to write this track realistically. Lots of children face divorce...from the time they are little ..if she and karthik can’t live together since he is remarried ,.and his family don’t want her. They can show us her getting a job and house in the same city and sharing kairavs custody with karthik. But they most probably won’t. They might show us something ridiculous as she and kairav both going to live in the goenkas house ,.and her receiving daily taunts and insults from dadi, karthik , manish and now even vedika

I understand if she would have wanted to runaway from the family. Not runaway but live separately from them because running away is not a solution, however, she wants to run away because she thinks she will be doing Kartik a favour by depriving him of his son. She wants to move away because Vedika is apparently more important to her than her son who just woke up after a surgery.

Kartik, who she thinks married her on his own free will, isn’t giving two hoots about Vedika. He wants to focus his energy on his son, so why the hell does she care? This is not mahanta but stupidity imo.

Why can’t she just ignore the family and Vedika like she has done in the past 5 years? Kartik was right to ask her since when did she start thinking about his family when she didn’t think about them throughout the 5 years she pretended to be dead.

I get that running away is not a solution but i understand why she would want to run away given how everyone is acting around her. Yes she needs to put her child first but she also needs to be given some space right now and they should all put aside whatever they want to say to her and just be there for her while her son goes through this ordeal and until her relationship with her son and karthik is solved, everyone in both families should shut up but of course they won't. Karthik is going to act all hurt and maahan and will leave no opportunity to taunt naira..that is not what's needed right now...so her impulse to run? I 100% totally get it. Knowing this show and his family....they will torture Naira and they will try for full custody at some pt.
