The Kashmir issues is extremely complicated and very hard for a lay person to understand so it's better not to get involved. I don't blame her at all.

There is nothing wrong in wat sonam said, she said she doesnt understand the situation clearly so cant comment on it, but she said its heartbreaking and is being sensitive about the situation, she isnt taking sides, she hopes for peace, I really liked her answer, it is balanced, she did not say she will turn a blind eye

That's such a misleading caption. For the first time, she actually sounded good and her prerogative as an artist was right. That's how artists should behave imo - neutral. And not act as hypocrites after earning from the rival country.

only till i realized what is happening in kashmir on the other side of the border..thanks but no thanks..i am not ashamed of my nation..i was wrong to ever be..at least minorities are not bleeding there everyday! and my patriotism also does not make me go blind and inhuman either ..like it has made some to put a blind eye on what is happening in kashmir right now. I voiced with what i felt wrong in my nation..i did not become blind unlike many others here..Now go cry a river!

I support what's happening in Kashmir..And not bcoz I m n Indian.

After so many years of turmoil and almost a generation change in Kashmir even Kashmiris would be confused about what is right for them. An entire generation has grown up in conflict. Imagine the decision is left to them..Still there will be some who wouldn't be happy with the outcome..Even after so many years we have people in both the countries who didn't want partition..But they had to go with what others decided for them.

I have hope..rather strong belief..that this move will bring some stability and peace in their life. Kids would be able to imagine a life without constant threats and fear.. Kashmiris and the centre together can definitely bring this change if they want..Maybe slowly but surely it will come
