He will be there in flashbacks mentioned through someone else's thoughts, but he wont be introduced in the story as a character. At least, not as of now.

Arnav feels that Aarti to be selfish because she married the rich Manohar Kapoor. Little did heknow that Aarti must have rejected other suitors out of her love for her sonArnav and agreed to marry Manohar because she was really in love with him andManohar too loved /had agreed to loveArnav as his own son. Ofcourse this theory was severly tested when Manoharcouldn’t get Priya’s consent to keep Arnav with him.

Aarti probably had something to confess to Arnav aboutManohar when she was dying by was unable to reveal the actual truth and I feelwhatever she was able to convey too him, somehow convinced that Manohar or hisassociation was the reason for Aarti’s death.

From what I understand is that Manohar and Shashi wereworking together in one of the big law firms before Aarti convinced Manohar tostart his own Legal consultancy. Probability is that Aarti was also working inthe Law firm with Manohar and Shashi or was associated with the Firm for herlegal work.

Did Aarti help Manohar monetarily to start his independentpractice? No wonder Arnav feels that he is entitled to Aarti’s share fromK&A which he is extracting fromManohar. He feels Manohar has done grave injustice to Aarti’s love, endangeringher life. Little does he know that he and his theories are going to fall flatwhen the truth about Aarti’s death is revealed. At that time how will he manageto assuage his own guilt for the hurt that he has caused Manohar???

Lookslike Arnav was attracted to Khushi who did not fall for his wealth and looks.Loved the way Khushi was very frank with Arnav about his womanizing. No wonderour Babua was hurt by Khushi’s accusing words and was prompt enough to makethings clear to her. ‘I am an honest man’. This is going to come to hauntKhushi later on. Arnav had laid his cards on the table when he proposedmarriage to Khushi. He had subtly enquired about Khushi’s love interest in theinitial days, but Khushi was quiet. Unfortunately, Khushi remained quiet evenafter Aranv’s proposal, about her interest in Akash. From this update we learntthat Arnav was aware of Akash’s interest in Khushi and set out to snatch Khushifrom under his nose. I think he really fell in love with Khushi after thethought of marrying Khushi by snatching her from Akash, entered his head. Bythe time his proposal was formally taken to Roys, Arnav bitwa fell hook lineand sinker for the practical andprincipled Advocate Khushi Roy.

Iwonder what made Khushi keep her mouth shut about Akash when Arnav was so frankwith her. Even Garima and Manohar convinced Arnav that she wasn’t interested inAkash or any other man. Manohar may not have really know about this but Garimablatantly lied to Arnav about Khushi’s interest in Akash because she knew thatPriya wouldn’t accept Khushi as herdaughter in law and Akash would never be able to choose Khushi over Priya anyday.

Will the truth about Akash and Khushi be revealed by Viraj Rawat or as a result of the public knowledge about theskeletons in Kapoors’ family closet is yet to be seen. That day Arnav will findthat he has been betrayed by Khushi, Manohar and Garima and probably we willfind him taking support off his sister Payal who has always stood by herfavourite Bhai.

ShyamBiswas and Arnav Kapoor became brothers in arms when both of them hated Manoharwith a vengeance. This is what bonded them. Shyam ofcourse had ulterior motivesto take revenge from Manohar Kapoor and Arnav did not know about Shyam’s erstwhiledealings like Khushi or decided to keep quiet about this. I have a feeling thatShyam Biswas also may have had wrong notions about Manohar Kapoor and may alsohave been betrayed by Viraj Rawat due to which he lost his legal case and thelawyer prosecuting him happened to be Manohar Kapoor. Let us see whether Shyam turns out to be a better person that heactually looks.

How doesArnav know that he will be able to win the elections? He says he does notinvest time in unprofitable deals. Did the fact that Viraj Rawat is a shrewdpolitician (owing to his birth in staunch political family) make Arnav surethat he will win. Little does he know that this win will be at a great personalcost. The personal lives of Kapoors, Aarti, and Roys too will be brought out inthe open by his decision to agree to Viraj’s idea for a win.

Viraj iscorrect to inform Arnav that the move of bringing Kapoors life in the open whenhe is married to Khushi who is an Associate is just the right one politically.

It is knownthat Manohar Kapoor supports Yashwant Rawat, Viraj’s father. When the detailsof how Manohar manipulated Aarti and Arnav and caused Aarti’s death isrevealed, public sympathies will be with Arnav. Moreover the fact that Khushi is working with Manohar after herwedding to Arnav will show that Arnav doesn’t have any problem with his wifeworking for his step father who had betrayed him and left him lonely to fendfor himself after his mother’s death. Also, NSP supporters will want Manoharto probably remove Khushi from the job which will not sit well with Manohar and he may choose not to supporthis friend Yashwant Rawat. All in all it will be a win-win for PSP

All in allthis chapter was more about Arnav learning to trust the people with him, the most important one beingKhushi. What will happen when he finds that Khushi had actually lied to him byOMMISSION???

This update screamed Arnav and I cannot be more happy than I am.

His POV was something that sort of gave perspective to a lot of things, including his manipulation to marry Khushi and his apparent dislike for Manohar and his mother's choice of marrying him.

Anyway, he is a man sorted, and his life is like an open book. He has nothing to hide, except that he doesnt want yapping mouths for his mum, although she was in a legit marriage with Manohar. But his protectiveness came to the fore.

He loves Khushi, and there are no two ways about it. But he loves her a tad bit too much for his liking and will be hurt when the truth of her loving Akash, falls out.

This update few things very clearly...

1. Garima lied to Arnav for Khushi's sake. She chose Arnav over Akash

2. Manohar probably wanted to use Khushi as a bait to bend Arnav and he has the promise there.

3. Akash has a secret to keep and I have a feeling that he will hurt Arnav.

4. Khushi is in for a real shock. She is still in a bubble and doesnt realise it.

Btw, N wonderful writing. And the fact that Arnav is a VC, is an icing on the cake. ☺️

Lovely perceptive points, EC. Yes Arnav being a VC is a icing on the cake. We saw him as shrewd businessman in Wedded and WA with his own business and now in Withered he is a shrewd investor Capitalist. Will be wonderful to find out what he does next when his hits the rock bottom in his official and personal life.

What could be Akash's secret? Does it concern the actual killer of Aarti?

Khushi is trying her best to warn Arnav about the consequences of befriending Shyam. She is also trying to tell him to involve in the party matters, so that he can find out himself if something goes wrong. Arnav thinks he knows what he is doing. No one can change his mind right now.

At the moment Arnav's gratitude for Shyam and Aman is weighing more than Shyam's criminal record and the reasons for Aman to introduce him to PSP or Viraj's shrewd behaviour.

Arnav is still in two minds to go against Manohar in public. I think something else has to happen, to justify his decision. Is it going to be the lie Manohar told to Arnav about Khushi's feelings for Aakash? He may not question Garima, but, he will surely go ballistic, if he finds out Monohar lied about it.

What made Payal to apologise to Arnav for her behaviour towards Khushi? There is something fishy about it. Was she trying to win some brownie points from Arnav by apologising to Arnav instead of Khushi?

As I thought earlier, there is more to Arti's accident and her final words to Arnav. She did not clearly say she was in this condition because of Manohar, but, her words implied that it could be Manohar.

Arnav called his mother a selfish woman. Were those the words spoken in anger or was it his real opinion about his mother?

Well, as usual this chapter gave birth to more questions than what it answered. So, unwittingly I did end up asking few questions. Sorry about that.

I have a feeling that Manohar didnot know about Akash and Khushi. Or maybe he knew but convinced Akash that Arnav deserves to have his love after having had a very troubled childhood and Khushi's presence in his life will ensure that he takes the rightful path. Sometimes one has to lie for greater good.

I feel Payal knows that Khushi holds a much more important position with Arnav than herself and it would not be smart for her to alienate Arnav from her by being bitchy with Khushi.

Right Aarti's final words about Manohar seem to be cryptic and Arnav may find the truth later on when he openly confronts Manohar, i feel.

I feel Arnav was hurt more than in anger when he felt his mom being selfish. He never got parental love. His own biological father was never there for him. Aarti was a working woman, working in a big Legal firm hence may not have had much time for Arnav. Moreover she married Manohar and Arnav found that he had to share his time with her mother with Manohar. I feel Arnav did not realise that Aarti refused marriage with other men out of her love for Arnav and the need for his security but found that Manohar was a gem of a person and could not help but love him though he was already a much older and married man.
