and yeah, i don't know...on some level i think he ignored any signs she was bad....i don't know how AJ was prior to antara but based on her description he was goalless and not as sharp as he became after his brother's death. I think he honestly just was brainwashed by her....but it's amazing how evil she is.

The more we see the real vicious face of Antara, I really wonder how could Dadi not see this cunningness in all the years that she was with them. Akshat was madly in love with this vile women. So him being blinded can be understood, but in this entire antara's track Dadi's character comes out as very defective. You generally fall back on your elders for advice because of their insight and experience in reading and judging people, but dadi is one blunder of a character.
