This woman is either Babita’s friend Poonam or some other friend. I feel she will play an important role to bring HS and Babita together. Babita has to get jealous of HS and her friendship/flirting etc.

Even though it has been almost a year, HS & Minnie bonded very quickly and deeply. No one had ever expected this to happen, least of all Babes. That feeling of HS snatching her daughter away from her could be very real.

As for her being an outsider, that was through her choice. She could have chosen to stay behind with HS like Minnie did. Instead, she opted to leave. She could have sat with them all when they were mourning Imarti, but she chose to stay on a different level and observe them from afar. There is the desire to be included, but she's also distancing herself.

She could have focused more on her whilst staying in the haveli. I think she's doing this as a means of getting back at him. Fine, you wanted me to stay away? Then I'll stay away. In fact, I'll go so far away that you won't even get to see my face again. (Of course that's not happening since her shop is literally right in front of his home, but still. 🤔) I don't know what the right word is but it's as if she's trying to one up him in terms of who can deliver the most pain.

Yeah. but she's cutting off her nose to spite her face. In all this, poor Minnie will be hurt. She's been through a lot, and the last few days have been very very tough for her as a kid, especially watching her hero breaking down like that. She has been way too brave for her age. Let her be a kid again, because with Babita she still has to be a mother.

The only thing that gives me hope is her promise about never leaving him.

If my wish comes true, I will be the happiest person.

It all started from the track where he was training her before the Japani kushti competition. They played the "bapu sehat ke liye" song and it was just perfect. Then she started to talk like him when he was angry and he warned her against speaking like him because Babita would get angry.

Most recently, the way she has been part of the Haryanvi camp of HS, Imarti, and now her newfound Nanu, it's like she's the daughter of that family line, know what I mean?

Also, she's not related to HS by blood, so the more of his traits and mannerisms we see in her, the more the nature vs nurture element will come out.

But I understand that some people feel it might be too old-fashioned and HS is not that much older than Minnie that he should be called something so serious as bapu. Plus she's a modern kid so Papa might be better.

Aur haan, @Padmajaan ko bhi yo lage se, ke chhori apne Hanuman Uncle ne ek din bapu hi bulayegi.
