I dont know about box office, but I feel like Shahid's filmography is much stronger than Hrithik's. JWM, Kaminey, Haider,Udta Punjab, Kabir Singh.....he even acted well in some of his flops like Fida, Badmash Company

Hrithik on the other hand, hammed his way thru the 2000's......Maybe Guzarish and Super 30 were good. Rest was same old that he usually does.

You can't spare Shahid as he's getting limelight from everywhere now so you are coming with a topic like this.

Both the actors have had their bad phases in their career. Despite of being a Shahid fan, I gotta admit that Hrithik Roshan is more successful than him if we look at each of their overall filmographies. Hrithik has five 100cr+ movies if I'm not wrong (Krrish 3, Bang Bang, Kabil, Agneepath, Super 30) while Shahid has one (Kabir Singh). In terms of the BO collection Kabir Singh tops among rest of then with it's 300cr+ worldwide collection but in terms of the number of the cr club movies Hrithik is ahead. The only time it was a win-win for Shahid was when he grabbed the role of Haider over Bang Bang. Haider may not have done business like the other one, but Shahid got another level of recognition coz of it and the film got many awards in various categories (including Filmfare Best Actor). Even though Hrithik has already many awards in his kitty, in terms of acting I find Shahid much more better than him. Now if Shahid can keep his consistency in script choices and his upcoming movies also do good in the box office, then eventually he can be equally successful as HR.

Oh hun, I don’t base my success on replies or responses. For me my intellectual articulation of my opinion is satisfying enough . Anyway this topic has 500 views. That’s more than the amount of people who saw Kaabil in the theatre. I’m more than happy with that

I don’t measure success by box office, rather the impact and if it flops, then it’s ROI.

Impact wise it’s Hrithik that wins! His height, his freakish thumbs, his two closest advocates, they are more than Shahids performances. He followed bang bang with kaabil with mohenjodaro and super 30. In each of them his tan went darker and darker creating more impact than shahids Performances

I find Hrithik to be versatile and he is credible every time. He is 100% credible and charismatic as a king in Jodha Akbar, he can play the playboy, the action star, the super hero, the geek, etc. He acts well, looks good and most of the time leaves a mark regardless of the cast and box office results, so for me he wins.

Shahid is not too far but he is way too inconsistent and limited in his performances - I find him either good or completely grotesque. I liked him in Kaminey, Vivah and JWM. That’s it.
