I think Malhar is really confused as to whom to trust and not to trust. Everyone is acting shady and hiding things from him. But trust me, he will come through at the end.

Atul comes to ahaliya niwas and tries to say something to Anu and auo saheb but before he could say something someone shoots him on his leg. Then Anu sees someone covered in blanket running away.
