I maybe sounding ridiculous, but thing is this thread is speculation in itself, so whatever reasons we say here is probability. And in probability anything is possible. Who knows you maybe Ananya Pandey herself, making this thread to get discussed in the forum so someone's PR catches this publises articles attacking her, in the process winning more fans after you declare herself proud Hindu/ getting left leaning warriors if you are indeed Christian, or maybe I am Chunkey Pandey making excuses for nu daughter and also keeping my religion secret.

So anything said here by any one of us has as much chance of being true, as the other person. Also as much chance of being false.

but Brahmin surname se kiya faida, and it's not like Pandeys became Pandey post 2014, so they kept it to please BJP.
