Electrons can't Be Friends

On a normal day of ETF, when the officers were busy chasing their prime suspect, they found him killed by a person who left their team some six years ago, for quite some inexplicable reasons. It was found out later that the person was none other than their ex teammate, who is now a part of NIA.

Owing to the connection between the case ETF was dealing with, the ETF requested ACP Riya Mukherjee to temporarily join ETF to assist them in the case. She agreed reluctantly, without having a choice when her chief sent her orders.

Now being with the team ETF was another tough job for Riya because of the horrors of her past that still haunted her. This was a place where she smiled, cried, made friends, fell in love and fell out too...facing it altogether after all these years took a toll upon her.

While Riya was having a hard time being around the team, the team was behaving no different . They were in turmoil too. For the proposed past that is right in their mind yet too far away from their realities, in short they just wanted to hide it.

The interaction between the team ETF and the NIA second in command didn't go well, as she left no chance to make a comment whenever she felt a difference. They were constantly pushed back to the single day of their past that changed many lives. Specifically hers.

She couldn't handle it that her two senior officers didn't trust her, labelled her as mentally unstable person, shredded her personal life right in front of a judiciary and destroyed her aspirations on a professional front.

And now when she looks at herself, she has nothing to lose which made her even stronger than ever. She is quite content with the life she's leading. But that just disappointed someone else. Her best friend Shree. He always tried to shape her for better. But when he saw her coming back after all these years with an attitude cold as ice, he was far more than disappointed. And he let it show to her, by being indifferent towards her.

After coming back she realized, she didnt completely got control over her emotions as it started hurting her to see Shree behaving this way towards her. And she finally gave into the quest to make it up for her bestfriend. But friendship wasn't the only thing, she realized made her self control falter again. It was something else.

Something she never voiced, not even in her wildest dreams. Something that still struck her hard. Those feelings she thought died long ago started resurfacing again, shattering her boundaries.

What scared her more was these weren't anymore those abandoned feelings, but someone is making a home for them. And it was none other than Arjun Ratwe. He accepted all his mistakes, confessed all his reasons and was ready to give them a chance, to give those inexplicable feelings a chance to see if they survive longer enough to be happy.

And this time, she didn't trust him.

She knew, it was time to let go.

She forgive all of them for the mistake that happened that day and she let it go.

She helped them solving the case and finally closing it she left...
