What stood out to me also was the moh reference linked to her death and twice saying woh mari nahi usne praan tyag diya or something like that or usske sharir se praan nikal gaya types. Sorry my hindi is rotten as I am a Tamilian but you get my point.
Given that no dialogue and no detail is superfluous in our wonderful show, there is a deep seated meaning behind all this plus when he described the crazy love he had for imarti that he would never feel again plus all the flashbacks where we can see their crazy mad passionate love, we just have to connect all the dots.
When you love someone the way HS loved Imarti, you cannot see your love suffering and euthanasia is quite often the option chosen by family members who cannot see their loved one suffer so much especially if they beg them to release them from their pain and suffering and it's the terminal stage of an illness or when there is no cure to their problem.
No wonder it's called mercy killing and no wonder loving parents of much loved pets grant them the gift of death when there is no hope left for their much loved babies and they can't see them suffering and in agony!
Euthanasia also whether you like it or not is the ultimate proof of love and proof that you have placed your loved one above your own agony and suffering of living without them, that you have placed them above yourself. And people who resort to this will obviously find it very difficult to move on in life due to the entire morality and ethical discussions around euthanasia but also because of their bearing the brunt for the choice they had to end up making.
Don't know if I am making sense.

Glad you understood what I was trying to say. Yes, every dialogue in this show has deeper meaning and is linked to past or upcoming events. Your last paragraph especially summarizes the reasons why HS could be in this level of agony. She not only died early but in that way. For me this explanation seems to fit somewhat and is far less dramatic than murder, abuse, etc. but who knows?!

But if he has done that indeed, how will he come out from the clutches of law? How was he accused of culpable homicide which is just attempt to murder with wrong intentions? How did the lower courts release him?
I don't want to watch the rest of the story with the feeling that HS had even remotely anything to do directly with Imarti's death.
Too many questions. Bheja frying
I don't know if that means attempt to murder. I just think that when the case went to the lower court it was thrown out for some reason, perhaps lack of sufficient evidence or motive.
It can be mercy killing but then that would make HS guilty under law then only option it seems would be if Imarti's father gets that point and withdraw the case
There have been cases where parents have approached the court to resort to euthanasia for their son/daughter on compassionate grounds. Don't know how the court ruled these cases but the truth is that both jurists and medical professionals who are bound by the Hippocrates oath and can therefore not partake euthanasia are compassionate about it in their heart of hearts and at times even openly.
It is allowed for pets who are as loved if not more as human family members and India has always debated about legalizing euthanasia and might do so very soon. After all abortion is legal in India and we have probably legalized suicide too. This too shall follow. The problem is acture in Catholic countries for religious reasons.
I for one would be super super impressed if the CVs have the courage to go this route and still find a way for HS to come out unscathed, and guilt free in his heart with the audience still rooting for him.

Highly improbable. Cause we've the typical Indian audience too, which cannot stand the ML/FL getting tarnished in any way. And TRP is still a concern.
It is better not to overthink based on a SBS segment showing Imrati having headache and taking medicine.
There can be many other reasons. This track is not for showing how Imrati died. This is a side dish. The goal of the track is to show that when Babita and Mini needed HS, he stood by them. And now HS is in soup and Babita and MIni will take him out of it proving that they are a family. The evidence of Imrati's death is in the haveli itself. There is saying...if walls could talk..... There is something that Babita will find out and she will prove HS innocent. Mini stands by HS and gives him her moral support. Babita will do the deep thinking and find the evidence. There is a high chance of Khatri being involved in some way.
I will still say HS is not involved in anyway. Sony is a TV channel. Katha Kottage is a PH , that too not big like Balaji. The show needs sponsors to stay in air. I don't think any of the parties will want law suit by showing euthanasia. Bollywood movies are different. They have the finance to fight off law suits.
You know, all this euthanasia sounds good (and a very brave topic if makers decide to pursue it) but then Imarti must be in a coma, and as of now, she is not. You can't 'mercy' kill a living soul. Unless they are brain dead. Euthanasia is very sensitive even in countries that have legalized it.
I don't think a living person (a conscious person) can be euthanised because of unbearable pain... Euthanasia, I am sure, follows very strict guidelines, otherwise every last stage cancer patient, AIDs patient or any patient suffering from an incurable disease (leading to death) would opt for euthanasia. As far as I am aware, this is strictly for coma patients or brain dead patients.
Anyone who saw Guzarish would know that Hrithik's character's organs were dying. He was practically in a vegetative state and yet euthanasia wasn't allowed...
Apart from the very glaring issue (unless Imarti was brain dead), there are other reasons for euthanasia to not be the cause of Imarti's dead. Since its illegal in India, how did lower court acquit Hanuman? Insufficient evidence for euthanasia?
Honestly, if CVs do go down this road, I hope they keep it as realistic and as logical as they have been so far. I don't want them to mess it up... it's a very very tricky topic!
