Her identity would've been Anurag's wife and that is it. But she neither hated the Basus for doing that to her, nor had the guts to tell Anurag the truth to his face. It never came out, did it?

With Bajaj she's already the maalkin of the house in a sense. She follows him when he leaves in the middle of an argument and he says nothing, she goes after him when he doesn't pick her call, she orders him, bosses him around and he gives her all the autonomy to do whatever she likes.🤣And he's literally shut the BASUS every single time they've tried to even insinuate anything about Prerna. AND THAT LITERALLY SEALS IT.

And there comes a moment in kasauti jab bajaj feels prerna feelings for anurag which he doesnt feels now that much and actually is ready to let her go......but its too late by then.....for prerna, anurag just became a friend by then and mr bajaj became her loveee......ahhh when he tries to let her go and calls her a family friend........she bursts out so madly at him......family....family kya hota hain jaante the.....maine banai hain family.....mujhe family friend bolll rahe......

And when he says that he doesnt love her and calls her mrs basu so that she can go to anurag - Prerna says aap mujhse pyaar nahi karte.....aap chodiye yeh toh har koi batayega yaha.....aap mujhse pyaar nahi karte....aap toh jee hi nahi sakte mere bina.....jhooth boll rahe ho aap. The confidance she had about him loving her was always on another level.❤️

And then the second meeting, where again he was playing her so calmly. I feel like that balance shifted when they were married. Her devastation and vulnerability combined with how young and naive she is, softened him, that with his guilt, he became so attuned to every nuance of hers. He overcompensates. From picking her calls during meetings to telling her everything, giving her whatever she wants, even when Anurag is standing right in front of him, and being so so perceptive of her moods and desires. That really cements the growth arc btw them.

Red - Thats cuz of his age and maturity though has remained single for many years now. He has not lost the touch. She has just given him a reason to do that.

i agree. Prerna relationship with anurag doesn't work at all. It is indeed very toxic. Prerna sacrifices her entire self respect for anurag and his family. The whole komilka track irritated me. Erica acted very well in that track but to see prerna returning to a house where the people hated her and not to mention anurag insulted her even though he did it to make her hate him. If he was working hard to get out of the marriage with komilka he could've have told her the truth and she would've understand. It's unlike prerna and bajaj where prerna knows she is making a lifelong commitment to bajaj which is why she said those things about HERSELF to make anurag hate her. Komilka and bajaj are two different people.

Bajaj shows prerna respect and along the way teaches her some things. I'm glad they got KSG to play this role because he is indeed a senior actor compared to Erica and the similarities between that and the characters they portray on screen couldn't have been even more perfect. Prerna is naive and innocent. When it comes to anurag and his family she doesn't respect herself. With bajaj he tells her right away she doesn't have to come and beg for him like what she use to do with anurag.

But that track makes my blood boil everytime I even think of it. After being so publicly ditched and humiliated she forced herself on that house, the people, took up rights noone gave her, was insulted every second of every minute of everyday, ridiculed, sent to jail, GOD KNOWS KYA KUCH NAHI, and she was busy playing bahu bhabhi, dancing, doing housechore for Basus, OMG I HATED HER! I remember this hospital scene where she wants to meet Moloy and Mohini insults her so so much! She's like tumhari aukat nahi hai mere saamne khare hone ki and all she does is say I love guys so much you're hurting me. and I WAS LIKE GIRLLL WHAT. THE FU*K? LIKE ARE YOU SERIOUS?

I'm so glad RB's finally showing her the respect she should get and telling her to stand up for herself, and never beg, no matter what the situation is.

Anurag was so bound and blinded by his relationships and family, he could never really stand up for Prerna the way she deserved.

RB bows to noone and no one controls him. I hope they keep this solid steel of a backbone intact because Prerna really needs someone like him by her side. At least until she can grow into a stronger, more powerful, self-sufficient woman and then I hope he's the one she chooses for herself.
