That's why I want him to win the court case with proper proceedings and walk out with his head held high, with Minnie beside him. He deserves to live in peace and not have to worry about this all his life. I think he was really looking forward to spending more time with Minnie and her having permanence in his life. I also think he wants to do a lot of things for Minnie but the notice of the court case really hurt him because just as he had called himself her father, he felt life was tying his hands again.
I must admit I was so in awe of him when I realized the meaning behind what he had said to Babita to hurt her. It was all about Minnie, all about her future and safety. Babita too, but mainly Minnie. He is in such a poor state but still his first thought is about these two. We had initially been led to believe that Minnie filled the void left behind by the child he had lost, but if there had never been a child in the first place then his paternal love for her is all the more admirable.❤️
