It’s Ekta and her panache for screwing up a show is unparalleled. I was reading Sanaya’s interview today and she said something along the lines of changing the plot and character if the show doesn’t garner enough ratings and I think everyone who has watched any show and was attached to it would absolutely agree with this because no matter how absurd the track might appear to be, if it draws the typical audience in, then it’ll play out for weeks.

So in the end I think it’ll just boil down to the duration of Karan’s contract and the ratings unfortunately.
