It is ironic that lovers are torn apart by death but they are also immortalized because of it.

As others have said, Minnie is his top priority right now. He cares about her safety. He knows she has seen a lot of nasty things and was there for her during Babita's court case, to support her when things became unbearable.

Now if he's going to go through this tough period, who will support her? That's his line of thought. He knows she is tough but he doesn't want her to have to keep fighting all the time. He wants to protect her innocence where possible.

i think every relation is different some r emotional some physical some r passionate like hanuman nd imarti ka relation... HS can never be with babita like he was with imarti babita is different nd now so is HS but it doesnt mean he ll love her any less... their bond is more of an emotional one nd mature.. they both ll pull each other out of the darkness nd loneliness so it ll make their love all the more special ..
