Given that his own mother married his father only after he became rich I don't think he sees the gold digger part as a fault.He comes from high society esp where wealth is a criteria for marriage.He,as a person may not be materialistic but he's used to it.His own mother and sister weren't accepting Prerna till a few days bcoz of her family bg,did he ditch them?No.So if wealth is the reason why Prerna left him.Why can't wealth be the reason she comes back to him?In fact,bcoz Prerna said that she married Bajaj for money,he actually has hope that he might win her back.If Prerna had said that she married Bajaj for love,Anurag would've been completely dejected and heartbroken bcoz he wouldn't know how to fight that.

Apart from this she did nothing to establish her claim as his wife legally nor did she try to establish her child's rights as a Basu.She spent her entire time in BB hating Anurag's closeness with Komolika?Why should she still feel angry and jealous over Anurag babying Komolika,when she'd actually believed that he married Komolika for money just like Anurag believes that she married Bajaj for money.

The CVS will never show AnuPre fixing each other's rishta for others or AnuPre moving on from each other the TRPs can't take is which is why,Prerna came to BB with that first wife and pregnancy claim,and now Anurag wants to destroy Bajaj and win back Prerna
