Birthday Remembrance - Divya Bharti
Sanjay Bhansali health had routine health chkup as per his team.
It was for a school play for Music Day. We had created a musical play where we performed on Ek Do Teen, Gerua, Jumma Chumma, Hawa Hawai, Dance Basanti. There were famous dialogues incorporated and it was so much fuuun :D You?
While I am terrible dancer and singer, but I have performed many times in micro events.
When I was small, O o Jaane ne Jaane jana during a birthday function of my cousin. Although that was one of my worst moments too, as I shat on my pants while dancing.
Than I sang that "I am in love, nana karke" wala song in school function with a female friend. Also sang some english songs and nepali songs.
Also there are one nepalI song, jisme group dance kiya tha.
Farewell ke time mai "Hai Junoon" gaya tha, pura gaana faklandu hogaya, itna besura gaya ki aaj tak dost chedte hai lol. Lekin mai kiya chapra dance kiya tha that day, pura ganpati visargaan maccha diya tha jamming session mai lol.

Desi girl at college fresher and that was so embarrassing that I stopped listening to that song after fresher even if I overheard it I cringe in embarrassment 😆
When I was in junior school danced on janam samja Karo n Sona Kitna Sona hai😆
Quite a few as a child..😃
Dancing at weddings was never part of our culture back then. :) I used to dance in our neighborhood with mostly older girls and guys.. So many days were spent on choosing music and discussing songs. That is strangely the part I remember more than actual final performances. The main performance is almost wiped out on my mind.. 😆 I've done Taal Se Taal Mila -(the western one) with an older partner, Kehta Hai Mera Yeh Dil Piya (in telugu) in a group in a very pretty ghagra... (there's a video of this!:)
I have absolutely no memory of either preparing for it or dancing (it's my first performance :p ), but I was made to dance Tu Cheez Badi Hai with an older girl who dressed as the male and was active performer and me as female and the highlight of this is, we pose with those cool oversized aviator glasses for the photo :p ..and then Kambaqt Ishq in a group.. (for some reason I feel bad about this, I felt trapped doing this, even now I don't really like listening to this song..).. And, there another group dance which was a medley of some non-filmy songs I don't remember it at all.. I tried so hard to recollect the songs but to no avail.. We danced Mama I love you (Spice Girls wala) in the end! 😃
A little boy and I were supposed to do Kaho Na Pyaar Hai title, but it was dropped.. IDK why :( ..I had this cute pink skirt that I was supposed to wear and I remember we were gonna do something like around a imaginary bonfire or something(imitating the actors from the song). Back then I was relieved though. We even practised Meri Chunar Udd Ud Jaye in a group.. IDK why it was dropped..
And my cousins and I used to try dancing/imitating so many songs though, almost every song like most kids that time that was trending or catchy/groovy.. most memorable for me were Pi Pi Papiha Pi pi Bole, Chudi Jo, Maine Payal Hai Chankayi, Mama I love you, Wannabe, Whenever Wherever, Baby One More Time, Ketchup, Bumbro, Chunari Chunari (Sush and Salman wala), Janam Samjha Karo, Kesariya Hai roop maro, Ek Pal Ka Jeena, bole chudiya bole kangana, you are my soniya, Piya piya oh piya piya, Aankhen Khuli ho ya ho, etc etc.. we still do sometimes but can't bring out that dancing/imitating side out of me unless I'm in one of my hyper moods.. I'm a bad dancer anyway.. :p
Kathak dance on this song in 5th grade for School annual day. It was a group performance.😃
And then Lungi dance with friends on farewell day.
Isse zyada dance nahi ho paya Jeevan mein😆
