You have quoted apt proverb. These both teamed up for sure. They are a team now. Hope Anu will unfold something as Atul told her some secret. She might help in all this.

Regarding Malhar, I agree with you. He is a changed person. Previously he was not ready to beleive anybody but with time, kalyani has changed him; made him believe in trust love and commitment again.
