I have grown to admire and respect the CVs' song selection but this song is just something else for me. There are a very few select songs that I categorize as "rooh ko chu leni wali" and this song fits under that category.

The agony and passion is located in not just the vocals but the instruments too. For me, it brings a whole new meaning to the word longing.

Totally agree with you. Again it shows how much thought goes into planning and designing each scene and episode, and especially the song selection. Nothing is there ainvayi.

That's what's great about this show. Every fine detail is looked into. Kudos to all of them! Will forever be grateful.

Yes!

We all know how songs function as another method of narration. The songs they used thus far is perfect for depicting the inner turmoils and jubilation the characters feel depending on the situation.

What I found interesting was that they played the song over Babita, HS and Minnie and yet, none of them were on the same page. Babita had wrongly assumed that HS would heed her and not drink; HS doesn't appreciate the fact that she was invading his personal space to the point that she took Imarti's name; Minnie on the other hand was busy planning her parents' marriage. 😆

The end point remains though: they all want to stay together as one unit. It's the interpersonal relationships within that unit that needs to be given a definitive shape.

Especially for introducing me to such great songs like Dheere Jalna, Ae Ajnabi and reminding me of Jana Mein Jogi De Naal Ni.

I feel like we need to create a separate jukebox of sorts to keep track of all the songs they have played thus far.

I am all for this idea especially since their song choices are very well thought out and as you said meant to continue or accompany the narrative. And each time they have been bang on and most artistic!

What I keep with myself are too many feels right now. AHHHH.

This song was so perfectly put.

Gawd. I think I'll be indebted forever to CVs for such brilliant content.

PS : I couldn't help but smile at how Mini says 'parents'. The scene was funny but how important was that! She acknowledged him as her parent.

That clip in the sneak peek was even better though in terms of visuals and angles. They edited that slomo back steps ughhh.

But that dil jude bina hi was outright heartbreaking. I'm glad they didnt play it, I would've sunk in tears.
