Which is why I said on Friday that he was judged too harshly last week on a 30 second clip. People were comparing him to Ashok and calling him a bully etc.
I am glad to say that after Today's episode I want these were people to say sorry to HS.

Exactly! He would have suffered so much in life. At times the audience too is responsible in butchering a character. And his character was saved by all of us, which includes the production house as well for executing his character marvelously...
I'm definitely late to the party here, but OH MY GOD!
I just went through all the posts on this thread. People have already put forth everything I felt after reading that article, there isn't much for me to say. But I still wanted to say out loud just how unconventional our show is! I love how the writers aren't trying to erase the one of main lead's late/ex spouse so that the current track moves ahead. HS's past is getting the recognition and closure that it deserves. Realistically speaking, just because Imarti was never physically, or to a certain extent verbally, present, doesn't mean it is going to be easy for HS to start a new relationship. And the writers are giving us a proper working-through-issues storyline, like it would have to happen in real life. Yet another reason why PB is one of the best shows out there. ❤️
Thanks for sharing dear
I've seen her in Shakti... But I already started loving her as Imarti.. M so excited to watch her in PB

And specially after yesterday's episode on this fandom, almost everyone had actually given up explaining that definitely something amazing would be happening we just have to wait for it. Looks like our wait was short lived. And this was definitely a masterstroke by the writers. Not just pressure from the channel, but a few people as well.... This is called mauka pe chakka marna.👏
Completely agree. It's a win-win for everyone.

Yep, it feels so surreal to say that these are going to be soul mates soon... Well, they are but it's just that they have to realise....
Gosh, it never ceases to amaze me how I think and feel about these characters as though they were real people.

I have half a mind to ask the PH for a job just so I can get to work with such talent and learn from them.

Same her and I don't know how many buckets am I gonna cry after seeing HS like this. The last I actually cried was during naina
Also I think that they are trying to bring in raw grief when one loses a partner etc. In India there is a stigma attached to Counselling, because they tend to link it to be crazy or something along those lines.
He has had to struggle alone with the grief that he went through and will also explain why he turned to drink etc.
I think that on Friday he must have had a visit from the inlaws or someone like that reminding him of either his wedding or her death.
Hence him drinking inside the house and losing his cool with Babita when she was trying to stop him and Lally was there as well
